Horrendous experience. A Father's Day treat turned into a disaster! Five of six of us adults went for a Father's Day treat for my husband. We had booked a table and were seated in an alcove near the toilets, around the corner from the counter. After receiving the menus, we all chose our meals and drinks and then waited for our order to be taken. Perhaps as we weren't in the eye line of any staff at the counter, we felt rather ignored, and a couple came with their baby and were served before us. Perhaps as they sat near the counter. It was busy, but other people being served before you is annoying. After 20 minutes or so, we went and asked at the counter if we could order, please, and the waitress came. Orders placed all was well. The food was good, there were no problems with the kitchen! We ordered additional drinks when the food arrived. Two coffees, coke, etc, and ate our food. A waiter came over and asked if our drinks had come, as they hadn't, he chased them up, and just after we finished eating, a different, younger waiter came, quite unsteadily, with his full tray. He tried to lift a coffee from the tray and proceeded to knock a bottle of coke onto my husband, where it started emptying on his trousers and new shirt. Fortunately, my husband grabbed the bottle, but he was already wet through. There was actually a puddle on his chair when he stood up, and the floor was also quite wet. The waiter retreated and returned with a roll of blue cloths and left us cleaning it up! My husband was absolutely soaked! We dried the table, the chair, and the floor, as there was a family at the next table with small children, so we didn't want one of the children to slip on the wet floor. It totally our ruined the outing and the mood for Father's Day. We needed to leave. Unbelieveably, a waitress brought the bill and told us Dad's meal was free as if that helped. I said, "So we have to pay for the drinks he just brought," even though my husband was wearing one of them and the two coffees were partially in the saucers. The waitress returned and said the manager had agreed that the drinks price was knocked off the bill. We paid for the terrible experience and have no desire to return. We had to go straight home, where my husband showered, and I put his soaking shirt, trousers, and underwear in the wash. Not how we had planned to spend the afternoon at all! Accidents happen, I know, but it seemed to be nothing to them, and the manager never even came over to apologise for ruining my husband's day. Food ok, but terrible customer service and poor management attitude. Best avoided.

We came here for a spot of lunch on Friday. Service was friendly and quite prompt despite being pretty busy. We ordered Cajun chicken wrap with salt and pepper fries, and a brie, bacon and rocket bloomer with truffle and Parmesan fries. Both of which were delicious, but it’s the salt and pepper fries being a highlight. We also had a chai latte, a pot of tea and 2 diet cokes. The bill came to Ā£36. The only feedback is the sandwich’s/wraps are on the pricier side to not include fries as standard. They do serve it with crisps and salad, but we think fries should come with the dish as standard. They do offer alcohol, which is a great touch, with premium spirits and beers on tap. Ideal for an after work drink, or a celebratory cocktail over a catch-up.

Flat white and smashed avocado, grilled halloumi and bacon ciabatta. Absolutely delicious. When i arrived i was told there was a 30 minute wait for food. Coffee order taken within minutes and came quickly, but food order only taken some 20 minutes later and food arrived about45 mins after I first sat down hence the lost star. Would’ve been full 5 stars had service been a bit faster. Entrance very accessible but no disabled toilet. Update 3/8/24 Actually managed to get here in time for breakfast. Had to wait again but was not disappointed. They have now added a 2nd toilet, which is great. Lovely outside eating area too if weather is good. Gets the afternoon sun.

I've been meaning to write this review for while as it's become a favourite breakfast spot!

After spotting this little gem on my Instagram a few weeks back we popped in for breakfast but narrowly missed out and ended up with the lunch menu! Cant say we were disappointed as it was amazing, I had a Italian meat and cheese bagle which was lovely and my other half had the soup and sandwich. The roasted red pepper and tomoto soup was very very good!

Since then we've been back 3 times for breakfast. I'm very very fussy when it comes to a full English, but the bocboc breakfast is the best I've had round here ( and we've tried ALOT of breakfast places) I opt for a poached egg which always pops perfectly. The sausage is full of flavour and the bacon is lovely and thick! You get vine cherry tomatoes which are always lovely and juicy, and your beans come in a seperate pot (extra points from me!) The other half gets the stacker and he's always very happy! Coffee is spot on, cappuccino is always just right, and whatever coffee beans they use make a lovely flavoured cup!

The staff are always really friendly and attentive, the place is spotlessly clean and for those who are concerned about being out during the covid pandemic from what I've seen they are following all the steps to keep everyone safe!

I'm yet to try the cakes but they do look delicious šŸ˜

I'm sure we'll be back for...

We came to BocBoc on Thursday 15th August at 3:30. I’ve been here three times and it’s always the same, the staff are absolutely miserable. It’s not my fault that they work in customer service, they definitely need to find new jobs because no one in this place is cut out for it. The staff member who was sweeping the floor had her boyfriend sat in waiting for her to finish and she kept rolling her eyes at him and then looking at us. I won’t be returning here anymore, there is plenty of other places you can go and won’t feel like the staff don’t want you to be there. We only nipped in to get our daughter and her cousin ice cream, it’s not like we had a big order but the staff made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It’s possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever had and I’ve thought that on the other two times I’ve been here as well. It’s a shame because the ice...
