So I don't mind a good piece of chicken and it is good from here but good Lord what have I just experienced?! I asked for a fillet burger meal and a chicken wrap on it's own. I get to the window where they serve you, I got my drink and then waited 3 minutes and get offered a second drink to which I didn't order(the f@#$?) I park up to have my delicious and anticipated meal! I opened the wrapper leading into this poor excuse of a chicken wrap might I add, opened along with the outer wrapping. I get this dingy chicken piece(yes a piece) surrounded by 4 1/2 non existent shreds of lettuce with a one pump chump amount of sauce!!! On to the fillet burger, thinking what could go wrong with this? Well, I open that lovely box that they are so well presented in and to my surprise, it is upside down?! Am I Lost, am I in space, did the burger use it as a defence mechanism to show it's belly and surrender so it wouldn't get eaten? No, it was placed there like that, on purpose ffs! But I discovered where the missing lettuce went from my wrap, yes, obviously when getting passed from the establishment of the great KFC to my car to my hands the lettuce decided to sneak out from said wrap and made its way in to my burger box (did the lettuce turn my burger upside down?) The chicken:lettuce ratio was 1:89 and now don't get me wrong I like lettuce, but if that's how they're going to create their burgers it should obviously called a lettuce fillet burger with a sprinkle of chicken?! Any thoughts? Finally the chips, the great anticipated chips 🙃 was there any salt? No 🙃 was there any wipes? No 🙃 and lastly was there any of that warmth, that we all need so terribly to fill our hearts with love and tenderness? No 🙃 they would have been warmer if I put a cold fan over them for 6 days in the north pole and left them outside! So if you had the time to read this, thank you for your patience, time and hopefully your compassion as I experienced everything that could go wrong with something that should have gone so right!
God bless you KFC ST. HELENS, only faith can...
Read moreI have adored KFC way back when you would be given an American Biscuit with your chicken chips and gravy. I still miss them Soooooo much and don't taste the same when I make them. The staff are doing their very best but it's noticeable they lack motivation and support, which is sad as they could be good. The outlet looks filthy inside and out plus its outdated, the uniforms are horrific, it needs a massive overhaul retraining (involve the staff for direction) increase workforce or productivity of team. The cleaning team seems to now be the front of house servers so no wonder. I always have to wait for orders inside or drive through what seems an age, then you are under pressure to pick your choice from a glimpse of a menu board on way around the drive through and its not clear on boards what the meal contents and cost and always have to reorder due to lack of stock. Please don't take away our KFC but improve on what we've got. Again: I'm NOT pointing finger at front of house staff but I'm definitely pointing at senior / area managers. It's always packed so its making the money but loyalty will not remain if service don't improve. This latest incident of running out of chicken speaks volumes, but who gets the brunt of complaints and frustrated customers? Yes, our FOHouse team, I think I heard that in one outlet the same FOH team realised the potential problem in advance and went out and purchased chicken from another retailer! If true that's the people who should be leading the team. Probably not place to vent but...
Read moreWell where do I start, i placed an order at the machine as a take away order to pay cash at the till. As soon as I got to the till I thought then this wasn't going to be great as there was no smile or greeting and also my daughter placed a separate order. So we stood around waiting for the order and then an order was placed on the counter and a number was then shouted out which didn't correspond to my order so 5 mins went by and this girl came back to then shout my order number. I walk towards the counter expecting a bag to be passed to me as my order was a takeaway but I was been given the food on a tray which had been sat there for nearly 10 mins. I said to the girl that my order was a takeaway and that not to bag that up as it had been there, it will be cold, but she still tried to bag it which i told them that I wanted a fresh order with that the two girls behind the counter started to stare at myself and my daughter and was muttering about us which made us feel very uncomfortable. This is not the first time I've had bad experiences with this shop and I will definitely not be going back to it. I don't know how its still trading with that type of staff running the place so please be aware of this when ordering food here. One of the biggest problems in most food places now is delivery. It feels as though its more important than real life...
