Costa Coffee — Restaurant in St Helens

Every time I go there and there’s a man with glasses who works there makes me feel very uncomfortable. It feels like his laughing at my English language and makes funny faces. My English is perfectly fine. He should be given training about his consumer services skills because every time he does that I feel terrible all day. After I pay for my food and coffee which is not cheap I don’t even enjoy it as I feel upset. Just one question how many languages can he speak ? He should be concentrating on the cleanliness because every time he works there it’s messy. Toilets are dirty, tables not wiped and coffee grounds everywhere behind...

Starting to no longer enjoy my Costa visits. We had a coffee, hot chocolate and two muffins. It came to just over £10. The muffins were dry and the cream added to the hot chocolate was barely there. Made me wonder why we bothered to add it. The staff aren't the best. They're slow, they don't read the orders and so either have to remake the drinks or they make a mess of the cup when tipping bits out to make room for the syrup / cream that they've not added. Going else where is certainly more beneficial...

Unfortunately, the cleanliness, or lack of it, let this store down badly. Staff are polite, coffee was fine. However, the floor of the store was disgusting. Rubbish and crumbs around the tables and even at the service area. We were there for 40 minutes or so, and though tables were being emptied, not once was the floor brushed or mopped. The staff here could do with seeing how the ladies at Huyton keep their store spotless!! Overall, or but cleanliness...
