Thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch stop here today - a breezy but sunny day, the delightful garden was a suntrap ... though there is a small amount of indoor seating in case of poor weather. The two lovely ladies serving were very friendly and engaging. So nice to see a menu with lighter, healthy choices rather than "carbs and chips"! We both chose salads, smoked salmon and halloumi respectively - first thoughts, well presented but maybe a bit on the small side given the price - however the textures and flavours were superb, quality ingredients well prepared and we finished more than satisfied with our meal. Went back for a third visit this week whilst on holiday and still great in every aspect and would recommend if you’re in the area. My only negative is that they have switched out lovely pottery mugs and plates to paper takeout cups and disposable boxes and cutlery. For me it takes away the charm of the place and if one was walking by and I saw this it somewhat cheapens the feel of this really special place. Please go back to how it was.
