Well, what to say about this place... It's a pub, that was a cinema and they have a big screen above the bar that isn't turned on, such a waste. They've got old movie posters all over the walls. They should have some old black and white movies playing to really hit it home. But, that's just my opinion. Anyway... The pub is kinda cool with its layout. There's multiple floors, one looking down on the next. Unfortunately, if you're sitting at the top the toilets are 4 floors down and if you work there, that's a lot of stairs to keep running orders up! Unfortunately, ordering by the app is just as annoying as you'd expect. I was really looking forward to a Doom Bar, it's at the bar, it's in their menu! Is it in the app, no!! Advertise something everywhere but not available!? This is just annoying! Fix yourself up W.Spoon! The pizza was a spicy meat, which was surprisingly nice. I expected it to have been thrown in a microwave and zapped quickly before running it up 300 steps to me but it tasted fresh. Not too spicy but just the right amount of kick. Tasty and recommended. Overall not the worst Wetherspoon's on the planet but a few changes are definitely required.

For a Wetherspoons pub this is definitely one of the better ones. The building is fantastic and have kept all of its original features. They sometime show films on the original screen at the front of the pub (it did used to be a cinema!) and at Christmas have Christmas films to watch. Drink are typically cheap and the food is as expected at a Wetherspoons (cheap, not great, not bad). Table service is available via the app. They have also now opened an upstairs balcony area at the back of the pub. If you can get a table up there it’s a great place to watch over the pub. Definitely worth a stop over if your in Stafford.

A well organised Wetherspoon. The staff are well trained and focussed on offering exceptional customer service. The selection of beer, lager, cider, wine, spirits and soft drinks are second to none in the pub trade. Food is great value and well presented. The extensive menu caters for many tastes. Children are well catered for in terms of food, drink and colouring. There is extensive outdoor seating to enjoy when the weather is fine. Well worth a visit for an excellent drinks selection and good pub food.

Our first visit since reopening from flooding. The renovation is great with opening up the balcony, repainting the ceiling detail, the bar area has been redone and the clock works. Along side the covid measures in place the staff were friendly and prompt as always. The coffee machine has had an update with the addition of decaf beans using Lavazza Dec. Which is great for us who like a great tasting coffee but without the caffeine. A really good visit at spoons.

We had a nice meal at the Picture House in Stafford. We used the ap to order our drinks and food so never had to go to the bar. The staff were friendly and when there was something missing off our order they quickly went to get the missing item and was very apologetic! When we first got there, all th tables were either full or left with empty glasses and plates but they were eventually all collected. We sat at the top and had a great view for people spotting!

One of the best Wetherspoons I've been to. Full of interest and character in the building. The original cinema features have been kept very tastefully, Well worth a visit.
