We have recently got married at this venue and wow, this stunning place is just the most beautiful venue we have visited. From the moment you walk in, there is a special perfume all around the venue, and walking up the stairs surprises you with a whole floor of privacy, where you can have the ceremony and the wedding breakfast with a capacity from 10 up to 60 people seated I believe. Anyway, we planned the wedding in about 9 months but everything happened as planned. They have an amazing wedding coordinator, called Ellen who went beyond and above to accommodate our needs and requests. Splendid food, very good communication, great range of drinks from the bar at decent prices, and the venue itself is an absolute bargain! For what you pay, you get a lot. We had endless emails, and visits to the venue for my comfort, and make sure my ideas are happening, but the venue has so much to offer, and the staff knows what they are doing. Nowadays, everyone knows that weddings can be expensive, but they can also be perfect and at very good price. I am very satisfied by choosing The Post House as my dream wedding venue. I wouldn’t change anything. Thanks Ellen and the team for all the effort made! ❤️ I would get married here all again.

Went for dinner with friends on a Friday night, first visit. First impression was good, place nicely decorated and was very busy. Lovely drinks and good selection of non alcoholic drinks for designated drives. Starts we shared -CORNISH CRAB & PARMESAN ARANCINI, which were okay but we found bacon in the garnish which was not stated on the menu (my husband is Pescatarian so this was not okay) -KOREAN FRIED CAULIFLOWER which was tasty with the dip was nice but was very soft and was mostly batter very little cauliflower. -TEMPURA BATTERED SQUID, not bad at all and dip was tasty, good amount of garlic For mains I had STICKY CHINESE SPICED BELLY PORK (see photo). This meal came out only just warm. One piece of pork was lovely and soft, the other was terribly dry and tough. The rice was terrible and horrible - I could not identify a gain of rice. It was very mushy and compacted and cold. I did complain about this but was just told that’s how egg fried rice is! SALTED CARAMEL CRÈME BRÛLÉE with caramelised banana, banoffee puree, caramel brandy snap and banana crumb Crème brûlée was nicely set and a good crunchy sugar layer on top- but could not identify a trace of salted Carmel. Banana weren’t caramelised but just dry banana slices. Banoffee “purée” was just a sauce, which was nice but very little present on the plate. Brandt snap had no snap and was very soft. My friends and husband and similar experiences with their dish’s. One positive was that there was a good selection for gluten free. Over all not a good experience and we’re we’re not impressed. Will not be visiting again. Very over priced for quality of food.

Tried this place out for the first time this evening and would definitely recommend. Have put the current menus up here. There were a couple wirh hiccups but everything was handled with grace and professional attitude. The interior was high quality, clean with a verity of seating options. The dining seating was velvet and comfortable. There is plenty of art to look at and most of the plants (not includinh the table pieces) we're real. I honestly dislike fake plants but this is personal preference so makes a difference to me when they have fresh. The food was well presented (see photos), cooked & put together well. They accommodated my dietary requirements with kindness & ease. The loos (that I always feel the need to mention as some are horrendous) were clean, smart and provide hand cream that is often an overlooked addition that makes a difference. There is also a lovely fake pink rose flower Wall that would be good for photos if you're into that. The drinks were fab, and they have a good selection. (we will be trying their bar at a later date) We will be going back again in the future.

Booked with friends to come for Sunday lunch, had to leave a £10pp deposit if we didn’t show, which felt a bit extreme for a Sunday lunch. Venue was really nicely decorated, very glam but also nice to have lunch, not too loud and felt very comfortable. We all had a roast dinner and we’re stuffed, food was good. Sunday dinner came with all the trimmings and we had desserts and cocktails too. Enjoyed ourselves, nice atmosphere and would come back again. There is Local street parking or multi-storey parking nearby and it’s easy to get to. Food was a little pricey, £22 for roast dinner, up to £10 for cocktails, £8 for dessert. Definitely spent more than I intended as the cocktails were delicious

Great!!! Make sure you book as it gets busy, I would give this place a 5 due to Ryan acknowledging us and welcoming us and actually spending some time with us and making us feel like we were invited, however, it took a manager to realise that we hadn't been designated a waiter/waitress and then he finally got us one, service was slow after the initial contact we had from Ryan, food was cold and for a fine dining restaurant I would expect alot better, when we were leaving we were presented the bill, we paid and left, nobody said thank you and acknowledged us again, there is no excuse for this please to have such shoddy service as there was plenty of staff and more than enough managers.

I have been going here for years for cocktails which are great. Friend and i decided we would go for food as menu looks great. I had the pistachio hake which was very good. The herb potatos for great. I also had the cheese flat bread on the side which was yummy. My mate had the fillet steak. Ordered rare but came medium rare. The team were excellent and redid the whole meal for him. Steak was very nice with big fat chips. They gave us a complimentary drink for this as well. Will definatly be back for cocktails. Unsure if would go back for food but that is purly because it is pricy and i prefer to try new places. Would 100% reconmend eating here thoug
