A Hidden Gem for Authentic Indian Cuisine!

I recently dined at Bengal Lounge, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern decor and traditional elements that immediately transport you to India.

The menu offers an impressive variety of dishes, all prepared with authentic spices and fresh ingredients. I tried the lamb biryani and beef rezzala , both of which were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, giving a true taste of Indian cuisine without being overwhelming.

The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make sure we had a fantastic dining experience. They were more than happy to accommodate dietary preferences and even recommended a few off-menu items that didn’t disappoint.

Whether you're looking for a cozy dinner spot or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Bengal Lounge should be at the top of your list. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to return!

My dinner party of 22 enjoyed a great Thursday evening at the Bengal Lounge. The private function room upstairs catered to all our needs. We were served popadums with mint yoghurt, mango chutney and chilli as the waiter took our orders. I had a mixed kebab as a starter and my main course was lamb shah (lamb shank) served with a garlic and corriander naan. I was pleasantly astonished when the lamb shank arrived because it was absolutely enormous. Cooked to perfection in mild tomato based curry sauce the tender meat just fell off the bone. Lamb is my favourite meat and I don't get to eat it very often in Japan so I was extremely satisfied with my dinner. The menu has a huge variety of starters, specialities and sides for all tastes...

Me and a friend sat down for a meal at Curry Kuter late on Sunday night. It's been a while since I've been here and as before thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

I'd had a Pasanda which was very much to my liking! The staff are also pleasant and approachable. I was well watered and quite chatty with the staff during the meal but they more than happy to join in!

We were also quite late into finishing our meal, past closing time but again the staff were patient.

So great food and service - Curry Kuteer continues to be one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Stafford so I recommend trying out if you're passing through or have not been there before.

Also worth mentioning they have a good Food hygiene...
