Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Stevenage

So... Where to start. I worked for costa for about 9 months in this time acquired all my badges. Costa's most hardest drink to make is the flat white/ cortardo which is 3 shots of coffee extracted for 15sec in total. We're both very anal when it comes to coffee especially since I used to work for one of the best costas around. Today we got served first of all 1 frothy flat white but still drinkable an a flatwhite with less froth than a latte. After requesting the flatwhite be remade we got a snotty response from the girl who made the ok flat white, this is not the attitude I was taught to have! as the saying goes the customer is always right. 2nd flatwhite the same shot used twice so again the flat white was pale in colour and tasted horrendous. This was remade and was spot on. Also 2x toasties were not cooked completely and the cheese hadn't melted the manager was more than happy to remake these for us and to make a bad expirence foot refunded the money. Costa worker had a go at me for sitting at a table with no drink. I explained that my daughter who has learning disabilities had just arrived so I was just going to get them. As I went to follow him in the shop he stopped me going in the shop. He made me and another couple waited outside and was talking down at us regarding social distancing. I asked him why has he had another go at me for going in the shop after telling me off for not! I felt humiliated and at 59 years old I felt I had been told off by a parent and I felt sorry for the other couple there to witness it. I pointed out to a member of staff that their tea cups were dirty and she said that's how they come out of the dishwasher, I said I don't want the dirty cup. They said their is nothing they can do, never offered me a refund, I was visiting someone there and I sat down and my visitor flagged a member of staff and explained what had happened, she offered to get a clean cup, by this time the experience of visiting Costa has been ruined. I suggest people take a good look at their cutlery amd cups at this specific costa and pull them up about their dirty habits. It's not on and better customer service...
