Bellini's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Stockport

went into bellinis for my dads birthday, booked a table for 12 people they only gave us 11 seats and made 2 of us sit on a separate table. until they needed the table for another customer so moved a chair onto the end of our table which we asked to do in the first place. not only did we wait over 1hour for our starters we waited a further 45mins for our mains. We ordered drinks that never came to the table after asking a staff member for the second time. they said they would go and check and never came back. My dad ordered a calzone and it came with tinfoil inside of it! not only did we complain but the staff member came back to the table with a pot covered in tin foil with cheese in and said “i’m sorry about that but because they scrape it out of here this is where the tin foil has come from”. My dad went home with no food for his birthday! the worst meal i have ever been too! As we were paying separate for the bills they had to re ask us what we had even ordered. mixed up all the bills, charging extra, the staff are rude and arrogant. disgusting customer service! Me and My Family will never be coming back here, we had high hopes as we have seen many people go inside but was wrong. Extremely disappointed with the meal and the service here last night. 8 of us went for my birthday meal. We all had starters which were fine but when it came to the main I ordered fillet steak medium rare, it arrived but was nearer to well done and very dry. I wasn't able to eat it so the waiter ordered another for me. After a few minutes he came back to the table and said they had run out of fillet but could offer me medallion fillets. When they arrived every one else had finished their meals. I was absolutely disgusted with the alternative meal as the meat looked like braising steak was again very overcooked and was served with the wrong sauce. Again we had to call the waiter over to say the meal wasn't satisfactory and asked him to take the meal off the bill and returned it. No apology was given and when we got the bill asked to speak to the manager who again offered no apology and was quite rude defending the quality of the food. He seemed quite happy to allow me to leave the restaurant having not eaten a meal. Customer service here was none existent and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our bill was over £250 and to not even be offered something else was disgusting. Their staff lost out on a rather large tip due to the attitude...

Unfortunately this is the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. The food was quite average (which is ok for the price) but to be waiting 1hr 45min for a pizza and pasta dish on a wednesday is a DISGRACE! If I wasn't there for a family meal, I would have walked out. Beyond the slow food even worse was the extremely slow drinks service - THERE IS NO EXCUSE TO WAIT 25 MIN FOR A PINT AND A COKE. after waiting 20 minutes for our drinks I actually looked around and every single table had every single drink empty. Total meal time: arrived at 7.15 ten min to order drinks 25 min wait for drinks another 20 min for a garlic bread and an hour after that for a main of pizza and pasta.

I would strongly advise people to avoid this restaurant - there are some lovely restaurants either side - Janna and Istanbul Grill, and if you are really wanting italian go to pizza express just down the road. I normally try and support family run and independant businesses but this was beyond a joke.
