What a gem of a place! My sister found this and has spread the word in the family so we visit weekly if not twice weekly..Such a lovely couple who cannot do enough for you..they make you feel so welcome and go above and beyond..they treated my mum to a Mothers Day cake and because I couldnt have it (being gluten free) they brought me my own treat of a gluten free cake at my next visit. The food is delicious..freshly cooked and well presented. The place is spotlessly clean and such a lovely ambience. The prices are very reasonable..I would be happy to pay more as seems a lot cheaper than surrounding places and it is better quality and service than elsewhere. It really is a lovely experience going here that all the family enjoy as a local meeting place for good food, good ambience and a good chat..Well done...

My husband and I arrived from a busy day from Conwy. Lovely to be back in Stockport. We wanted a nice peaceful setting. Dogs allowed. We found the perfect setting. On arrival, our hosts were extremely welcoming. They provided water and treats for the dog. There was a nice choice to tempt our pallets. We decided on panninis. My hubby had beef and cheese and I had tuna, cheese melt. When it came. It was a substantial amount. Salad and fries to accompany it. Washed down with a lovely hot latte. My husband had a coke. It is a beautiful restaurant with a nice range of superb quality food, with exceptional service. I highly recommend the Aubergine in Whey with the Garlic Bread with Cheese and Sun-dried tomatoes which we had as a starter, however it’s fairly filling so as a large lunch, you can’t go wrong.

Lovely service, good quality food, stunning restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. Don’t sleep on this one. They accept card too so ignore the ‘cash-only’ note that shows up on Google. 10/10, would eat here again....
