I went here on Sunday to get coffee and brunch. I had high hopes because the place looks great from the outside and looked really nice inside too. We got cappuccinos which were fantastic but the food was just about OK... I waited almost half an hour just for a sausage butty, which came out dry without the requested tomato sauce. It took me a few minutes to flag a member of staff (seemed very few staff about, and the man behind the bar was very busy) to bring me some out. After other wait, she brought out sauce which turned out to be spicy sriracha sauce... It did look very much like ketchup, but it ruined my meal as I only noticed once I'd poured the sauce over and started eating. They have a great range of cocktails, but to be honest they pretty much make whatever you want. We didn’t eat anything this time but we will definitely be going back to try the food. It has a fab atmosphere, and all the staff were lovely, but we mainly got served by the lovely Ben who saw to our every need. Read moreSecond time we’ve booked here and couldn’t eat. This evening we booked over and hour and a half ahead for food. Arrived, was shown to a reserved table that had one chair and given a drinks menu. When we asked for the food menu they said we are no longer serving food despite accepting the reservation and stating they serve food until 9pm. When queried the lady behind the bar stated she didn’t have time to call us to let us know they weren’t serving food anymore. Totally understand it’s a busy period but how you can allow customers to book and arrive for food and then wait for them to ask before saying they cannot eat. Terrible...
