Been using this drive through every night for ages. Recently it’s got really bad. They mess orders up all the time. Tonight they missed 2 items. I should have known it was coming, as it was the lazy girl with the bad attitude who always messes up orders. I normally say nothing and just drive back around. But tonight as I was queueing for the second time (as the rest of my food was going cold). The girl who has a bad attitude and always messes orders up, pointed to my car and laughed. Then a pale, ginger head with a ridiculously floppy side parting popped his head round and laughed. I was furious. When I arrived at the window. I told the girl who messes the orders up every time what I thought. She seemed sheepish and apologised. I wasn’t mad that she made a mistake, she always does. I was mad that she seemed to find it amusing as did the ginger kid. Amazingly It turns out the ginger kid is the night manager. I asked him what he found funny? The cowardly boy immediately slammed the window shut and made a huge scene. For some reason he thinks he has the right to demand respect. He was like a camp diva on a reality show. I was shocked and barely held my temper. I threw the food back and got my £20 back. My advice to McDonald’s. Sack the ginger kid. He belongs at anti trump demonstrations the jumped up little queen. He’s lucky I didn’t snap his skinny neck. For some reason he thinks he had the right to demand respect. When he grows up, he might realise that you get treated respectfully, if you treat others respectfully. Respect is something you earn and I doubt anyone respects him. I’ve been a customer for over 8 years and will never use this...
Read moreMe and my wife called in on our way home this evening and intended on sitting in the restaurant for some food and a coffee, as we entered the restaurant the were a number of tables packed with diners eating and drinking, once we arrived at the order point we were greeted by a staff member through a large plastic screen asking if we had face masks to which we replied no, (none of the other diners were wearing them so I didn’t think this would be a problem) at that point were were told that we would not be served, I questioned as to why but was greeted by the staff members back as she proceeded to walk off so we asked another member of staff if we could order and pay using the self serve and again we’re told no, now I didn’t want to make a fuss as we were made to feel so uncomfortable by the staff but I am also exempt from wearing one due to health reasons and having COPD, what made us feel worse is they there were many cars going through your drive through with people with no face masks (myself included) paying for and collecting their food off your team who were only an arms length away with no plastic protection screens in between, so after driving over 150 miles home today we then had to sit in your car park and eat our food after waiting in your drive through for 20 mins. Disappointed to say the least, I’m not one to write a review but all that your staff member had to do was ask if there was any specific reason I wasn’t wearing a face mask rather than turn there back and proceed to walk away after telling me “we can’t serve you’ that may actually be a form of...
Read moreThis is the worst Maccies I've ever been to. I only go occasionally but every eingle time it's been the same. When going through the drive through, they've passed me the drinks, then asked me to park up and somebody will bring the food. It took them 10 mins to bring it on one occasion and by the time I got home, the drinks were of course cold. Add in to this that there's always been either something missing, the order's completely wrong or it's thrown together with sometimes half a muffin missing and the whole experience is always a massive fail. When I raised it with the assistant manager, who incidentally was earning his wage running in and out of the restaurant taking food to people who had been to the drive through and told to park up, I was asked if I come at the same time every time. The implication being that it's in some way my fault for coming for breakfast beyween 10.30 and 10.40' because they're on wind down from breakfast, so don't have as much food ready. Utter nonsense and an absolute waste of everybody's time, customers and staff alike. The productivity, customer service and quality control are abysmal and the management evidently couldn't organise the proverbial...
