To "AP" who left an earlier review, what planet are you on? The Rising Sun in Bredbury is a fantastic community pub with a great atmosphere, fantastic food, helpful staff, a great beer garden, and most of all, Habibie & Emma are the most accommodating, personable, sociable, loveable and caring hosts you could hope for. They have taken a failing pub and turned it around into a mecca for fantastic Asian fusion food. People come from far around to experience the incredible food created by Habibie and his kitchen Team at very reasonable prices. They have at last found a winning formula for this fantastically situated little gem of a pub, supported by clientele who appreciate their warm hospitality, providing a congenial experience that us locals absolutely love.

To all who read this, ignore the ignorant comments left by "AP" and come and experience the incredible food and warm welcome that Habibie & Emma provide for the whole Bredbury...

The chef has been on my radar since I came across his social media from his Bury-based business, Pandora. So, I finally made my way down to his spot in Bredbury.

Upon arrival, the place had the feel of a local pub—definitely not where you'd expect to find Asian food. But the atmosphere was buzzing with both locals and a strong Hong Kong crowd, which was a good sign.

We ordered the prawn fritters, Hainanese chicken rice, and pineapple rice. While enjoying a pint and taking in the lively surroundings, the food arrived fairly quickly.

Without going into too much detail, we enjoyed the meal. The food was solid, great value for money, and the customer service was spot on. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

There isn't much places to park close by, however we were lucky to find a space wasn't too far...

I had a fantastic dining experience today. I tried the White Curry Chicken Rice, Hainanese Chicken Rice, and Honey Mustard Fried Chicken, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The white curry chicken was rich and creamy with a hint of coconut, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The Hainanese chicken rice was a classic done right – perfectly cooked chicken paired with fragrant turmeric rice. The honey mustard fried chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavours. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was attentive. Combined with the cosy atmosphere, this place is a gem! Highly recommended, and I’ll...

Recently changed hands only reopened for a week or less. Friendly owner, girlfriend and chef. Selection of beer .... funny that for a pub . Definitely now my local . Update ... (some comments above removed as now eaten here) Been open for a few weeks now and I go here once or twice a week although last week was more. Coming on in leaps and bounds . Quiz night last week. Live music tonight (i am not there tonight). Family Halloween day soon. Ate last Sunday ... Sunday lunch was great. Catered for my veggie daughter . You need to ask what's for pudding as there was more than on the menu available
