Go Thai — Restaurant in Stockport

We have been here a couple of times and we will continue to eat from here. The food is amazing and customer service is excellent. We drive from Wythenshawe to come here so it just shows what level this food is at. I've been to Thailand and love Thai food and this is definitely the best Thai food experience I've had outside of Thailand. Last night we decided to go outside our comfort zone and try something different so we ordered the Chiang Mai set menu and we were so glad we did! We tried things we wouldn't normally. I would never normally think to order a side of stir fry veg. Now I will be ordering it with every meal. Usually nice food but with reasonable wait on delivery - I can live with that.

However, the latest delivery was really bad and topped off by lacklustre customer service. I ordered at 7:35pm and was delivered at 9:29pm - 1hr 54 mins and we live 8 minutes down the road. (It came later than the first delivery time and later than the revised 1 hour later time on just eat).

When I called after 1.5 hours asking where it was I received literally no apology or explanation - now that’s hard to swallow. Food arrived tepid. Sadly will give up on this place now.

So still think it's best Thia and they live in Woodford.

However, we wonder if there's been a management change few months ago?

Staff not recognised

Portion of chips has got larger but not as good chips as smaller portion was
