The surroundings and food options were lovely, and the waitress who served us friendly, speedy and polite. However, the attitude of the cook/manager/owner was jarringly disappointing. My elderly father accidentally injured himself on a cocktail stick in a club sandwich and was bleeding profusely from a wound in his face. When I went inside and quietly asked this male member of staff for some serviettes to mop up the blood, and explained the situation (without any hint of criticism or recrimination), the man actually rolled his eyes at me and handed over the paper towel with very poor grace! He showed no concern either, nor did he offer to to take the very few steps from the counter to our table to check on the welfare of his customer. I wasn't complaining, nor was I angling for compensation through neglect on the part of the establishment, because it was no-one's fault: sometimes accidents just happen. I just very politely and discretely asked for a simple item so that I could assist my father, and was instead, with one non verbal action, made to feel like a complete nuisance. So amazed at the quality of food , the menu , which is simple , but something for every taste , sometimes you can get bogged down with choice , so was a change ,has to be tried .
