No29 Coffee House — Restaurant in Stockport

I cannot speak higher of how friendly the staff are! Me and my partner arrived early afternoon with our 5 month old, pram and all the others bits and bobs. They were incredibly busy but managed to fit us in and were super accommodating. Service was quick but attentive. Our daughter was overly tired so we spent a lot of the time trying to get her to sleep, to which point a member of staff asked if we would like her to take our daughter so we could finish eating. Incredibly kind and meant for once we had a hot meal together. The lady in the kitchen spent a lot of the time interacting with our daughter and just made the whole experience very heartwarming. We live in Marple but will be making the travel to Romiley when we fancy some brunch in the future.

We called in for breakfast was given a table and drinks order taken We have our breakfast order taken but unfortunately it did not arrive cafe was busy and did expect to a little wait We presumed they had forgotten us and another young ladies ask if all was ok after a gentleman on the next table mentioned we was concerned I explained our breakfast had not arrived and was offered out drinks Free which we accepted and left and went in a cafe opposite called Mellors and had a lovely breakfast (my husband is a diabetic so had taken his insulin after placing our order in cafe 29 so needed a cafe or food quite quick ) This has happened before in cafe 29 food not arriving but was willing to give it another chance today due to nice menu but unfortunately a nice menu is no good if food...

The cafe was very busy which is actually quite nice to see with the way things have been over the last two years. The prices were good and atmosphere was very nice in the place however it's a shame can not be said about some of the staff. The lady serving at the till and the lady bringing the drink/food over were lovely but there was one who had a very bad vibe to her just with the way she spoke. I just felt she wasn't very helpful to people such as instead of saying there's no room why not just say we are a little busy you can wait or try back in 10 minutes or so. To me it feel like she kind of spoke down to you (her tone) and was very selective who she would say bye to as your leaving the shop. Think that in itself ruined the experience but otherwise wasn't a bad...
