Fantastic micro pub and just what the village needed. In a prime location for public transport (train/bus) with a bay right outside for our UBER cab to pull up in. Frequent rotation of real ales, loads of ciders, German lagers and premium wheat beer. 50+ gins all at one set price, was delighted to see Patron high end tequila on the shelf. Very good value and a fine mixture of all ages in the place. Feels bigger on the inside and recently introduced a log burner in the rear room. Extremely welcoming staff who are always smiling and sharing jokes. Well run clean place with decent choice of beverages. They have expanded to Gee-Cross which I’ve been in half a dozen times and now soon to open a 3rd Jakes in Cheadle. Well done Cheryl & Darren, hats off to you both...

There have been many failed attempts at different businesses in Romiley that after a few months have shut but they really have got it spot on with this place. Fantastic idea and a welcome refreshing new business that isn't a kebab house, e cig shop, junk shop or hairdressers.
