Village Cafe — Restaurant in Stockport

My partner and I enjoyed a yummy and relaxed Sunday breakfast at this cosy, warm and friendly cafe. We both had cooked breakfasts, which were tasty with very generous portions. Really accomodating when my partner wanted to pick his cooked breakfast items. The lady running the cafe was super friendly and seriously impressive making and serving the delicious food whilst singlehandedly coordinating everyone's orders (which seemed to stream in all at once!) Absolutely fantastic value - I wish I lived closer so that I could visit regularly. Cosy, comfortable, great food and prices and a warm friendly atmostphere. Loved the decor too. What a little jewel in the crown this cafe is the food is very good and the prices very reasonable it's geat for take out food if your on the go, there's only a small amount of inside seating if your dining in but the big plus from this place is the outside catering they do we asked them to cater for 35 people at my wife's 50th Birthday and they were brilliant the food arrived on time well packed and everyone who came remarked on how well presented and good the food was even paper plates, disposable cutlery and napkins were supplied we were delighted with their service and would recommend them to...

2nd time I have been here and been ignored. 1st time about 6 months ago, stood at the counter for 10mins no one even acknowledged me so I walked out, this time was acknowledged and asked to sit down and our order would be taken, did so and someone one who arrived afterwards had their order taken and started we still hadn't had order taken. Customer service is shocking which is a shame because the food is usually good. There used to be a gentleman in the shop who was very attentive but on both of these visits he wasn't there. We gave a second chance there...
