Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

I usually rate this costa very high when I've sat in before now on many occasions but sadly these past few times I've been through the drive through the service hasn't been the same. The last few times we've been we've had the same drink which is the seasonal drink the Terry's chocolate orange but they've not had the chocolate that is advertised for this drink I know it's not a huge deal but when your paying nearly £4,£5 your expecting all the trimmings to your drink. Also the last occasion we went the drive through, we went for brunch our was food in stock of what we wanted but then we asked what they had for children and apparently they only had pizza available, not good enough only one option for a toddler or children isn't fare so we had to buy him something from else where before our big journey ahead. So yes I rated this costa 1 star I think some of the staff, not all because some have worked here from the beginning have brilliant customer service skills but some do need alot...

Popped in for lovely drink, not many cakes or pastries on offer. Lady who served us had the personality of a wet flannel, asked about a cake that wasn't on display and just got a simple, sharp no. Other lady making the order (2 hot chocolates) also had the personality of a wet flannel. No conversation and I honestly think that even if all 4 staff got together that they wouldn't know what a smile was. Honestly felt that at 3.45pm in the afternoon, that we were an inconvenience for them cleaning up. The only good and welcoming part of the atmosphere was there were other customers having pleasant conversations. Staff need to brush up on customer service alot as a smile...

This is my second bad review i have had with Costa Coffee this month. Sadly Costa employee people who don’t even drink coffee. How are these employees going to understand what real coffee drinkers want. All i want is a flat white but every time they find a new way to mess it up. Also, the cup sizing is different which really doesn’t make sense. It is now massive when flat white is supposed to be small and enjoyable. They make it with so much milk and when i asked for less the employee just tipped some away which is just stupid! Never again. Unfortunately costa…...
