An absolute hidden gem of a pub. They don't really do food, but they do have pies on match days and other events that they expect to be busy. If you like a traditional pub and want to be far enough out of the town centre to avoid the random idiots, this is your place. The regulars are very welcoming to newcomers. Match days and band nights attract a more varied crowd, but it's not the kind of place that attracts troublemakers - I've never seen an actual fight here in 10 or so years of coming 4-5 times a week.

Oh, and they have striped the place bare inside. Not a picture or a TV can be found. Poor really. Edit.. Changed owners now. Parking free again thankfully.
