McDonald's — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

What a disaster!!! Entered the store to see lots of delivery drivers waiting for their food so decided to place our order via the self service machine and chose tanke service. I was feeding myself and my 4 daughters and our order totalled over £30. The time on the receipt was 17.58 so we took a seat and waited. We waited for 20 minutes at which point I went to the counter and waited another 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. I approached the member of staff who was supposed to be cleaning the dinning area and was told that this was the normal as they are short staffed. This lady had been stood for the whole of our 35 minutes telling her friends at a table next to us about her holidays her operations and moaning how much her gas and electricity was costing her. At no point in 35 minutes did she do anything. The other staff seemed to have no idea what was happening and this lovely ladies lack of customer service and manners didnt help. She said she had been there for over 20 years. I wasnt sure if she meant with the company or standing in that spot. When we finally got our food we had to pack the children into the car and move on as we had booked cinema tickets and were running late. Absolutely disgusting customer service and a store I would...

This place gets worse.... Double espresso on my way to work this morning... It was hot brown water... Imagine 1 grain of coffee in half a cup of warm water... You don't mess with a man's coffee in the morning, cmon....

09/09/22 - once again... park up for drive through... 20mins Update 27/08/22- asked to park up for 2 Chicken Mayos!, waited 15 minutes, I'd have had my food as quick in a pub.

Really losing their edge now. Drive through is slower than going inside. Last vist was nearly 30 minutes from order to food.. very poor guys... i can see you priorities the uber food pick ups but when a customer is right there, fast food needs to be fast. Edit: 11/07/22. Getting worse... 3 standard burgers off the saver menu and I had to park up. More and more uber eats going in and out while I wait. 03/02/23: I don't think I've ever had my food handed to me at the window here. Always asked to park up for 15+ minutes. 02/03/23 It just gets worse,why do I keep coming back here... drive through, park up 20 mins... and what used to be the best tasting coke,, now Maccys famous coke tastes like carbonated water.. Still 100% focused on their uber eats drivers. Many came and went while I was waiting. c'mon that is not even...

Ordered a drive through breakfast meal today for 2. On the way to a important hospital appointment in Stafford. Set out early so could call maccies and still be in good time to reach appointment. However, ordered food, one car in front of us. Told to pull in a parking bay. Ok thats fine... but waiting 20 mins later. .....nothing. So went inside to find out whats happening. Deliveroo man also waiting, at least 10 people queuing or waiting for their order. Tried to get staffs attention, completely oblivious. Had to make a noise to get heard 'excuse me, excuse me' over and over. Then a young man said 'theres only 5 of us'.... and no sorry to keep you ALL waiting, and no idea about my order. Until, 'oh its here, just on the counter to be brought out to.you'. Still no apology.... nata. The term 'fast food' and 'great customer service' has clearly.gone out of the window. So if you in a hurry dont bother. Oh and for the record Congleton is the same, no fast, or urgency. Or apology or anything. Give up, hope the owners of this chain, give staff a good shake. And I can say this, because my line of work , people...lives cannot wait. Won't be visiting...
