A place where you never stop eating and the only place in Stoke that I drive to collect the food.

Full Peri Peri Chicken with Nan - £7 Ramadan offer - rating 10/10 Lamb / Meat Biryani - £7.50 - rating 10/10

We ordered the full peri peri chicken and asked them to be hot, and it came like that with their special sweet chilli sauce and garlic mayo. The chicken was juicy and cooked well.

Unfortunately, we forgot to collect our nan but tried it with the meat biryani. It was like heaven with different tastes exploding in your mouth. I don’t remember what happened until I finished the whole item, and it made me want more.

I have been eating biryani for as long as I know, and nothing came close to Sweet and Spice biryani. The flavour and the stock were unique and exquisite as your mouth started to water after you started smelling it from the shop. I am not sure how I drove all the way to home to eat it.

The price is comparatively cheap, but it can be a bit on the expensive side if you consider travelling to collect it. Unfortunately, they don’t do delivery, but if they do, they can end up being the top takeaway in Stoke.

The customer service is always excellent; make sure you call them to order rather than waiting to order at the till. Also, check out their Ramadan offer.

Things you have to try their sweet chilli sauce, peri peri chicken ( note it comes with other sauces), biryani and burgers…. list never stops. Also, try their gulab jamun and barfi.

Hot, Tasty Food!!! You Can Guarantee Consistency, Consistency, Consistency at Sweet & Spice Every Time!!! Food is always hot, flavoursome & produced in a reasonable amount of time. Staff are polite, everything is spotlessly clean. All the emergency services, especially the police eat there virtually every day, as do loads of students & anyone in the know from the surrounding area (upto 5 miles away on average). We love their 4 piece Southern Fried Chicken Value box, their chicken is perfectly coated & cooked& their Chicken Curry Desi Style is amazing, their Rottees & Nans are really good. Their Gulab Jaman are lovely too, we don't order everything, but whatever you order it's going to be great quality, I order all my catering for large family functions / events; Mehndis, Birthdays, Funerals from them every time. Catered for a small wedding function for one of my family friends, everything was brilliant. We have ordered a selection of chicken curry (boneless), meat curry (on the bone), Pilau Rice, Pakorehs, Samosehs, etc for between 20 ppl to 200ppl on many occasions over the years. It's a very nice place to have some food and chill . Is a .......HALAL...... restaurant and all the item here are halal . Its run by Pakistani and Afghanistani brothers .The menue are very nice and have a lot of variety . It's directly oposite of the Staffordshire University catalyst building . When it is university time many students come here to have their lunch it is very packed at that moment .. hard to find a seat at that time . The sweet and spicy special pizza is one of the best pizzas i have ever tested . It has corn capsicum 3 types of meat onion lots of cheese and a lots more .. the taste is 8.5/10
