I recently visited this Moroccan restaurant and had a mixed experience. The Moroccan soup I ordered was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. I decided to tip an extra 50p for the great food, bringing the total to £3. However, things went downhill when it came to payment.

I noticed the server wrote £3 on the card machine, so I looked away for a moment and completed the payment, thinking I was charged £3. When I checked my phone later, I saw I had been charged £5.50. I returned to the shop to address the issue. The server quickly apologized and refunded the difference, but I felt cheated. It seemed like he deliberately overcharged me, possibly thinking I wouldn't notice.

While the food was great, this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Be vigilant about...

One of the best food joints in Stoke, I highly recommend this spot for authentic Moroccan cuisine. The owners are extremely kind and friendly, providing fast and excellent service. The food quality is top-notch, delicious and unexpected. We had the traditional tagine with lamb, veg and couscous, along with spinach Mšemen and lentil soup served with olives, the biscuits were also tasty, as was the Moroccan mint tea and traditional coffee. Overall the experience was pleasant and the food was filling, and the price was very reasonable. You can find Moroccan Food at the indoor market at Stoke town centre (not Hanley), free parking is available at Sainsbury’s just 2...

My wife and I went for a light lunch. We each had spinach style pancake which, did come with a small dish of couscous. We also had a coffee and mint tea. The mint tea was a new experience, not an off the shelf tea bag but, fresh mint and a lot it, wow!! The coffee was pleasant with I think, a hint of cardamon. This also came with two home cooked biscuits. The service was excellent and welcoming. It is worth a visit. We will be back soon. Thank you for your...

The most amazing cafe has relocated to Longton opposite Iceland! The food is amazing, they have different dishes made every day, normally a type of Tagine with lentil soups, the sides are really flavourful too, I did like the chicken Wrap as the taste is unlike any other wraps I have tasted. Tea is must try too, moroccan mint tea is the best. I recommend everyone try this place

I did not expect to find this gem in the middle of Stoke. It was a taste of home cook food for a weary traveller. The Jumaah lunch was both affordable and tasty. I ate everything, the dhall soup, the meatballs with rice, carrots and potatoes. The cookie with the mint tea was unexpected and thoughtful. It’s these special touches that bring customers back again.
