I would rate this as the best place to eat in Stoke-On-Trent. If I am ever asked where to go for lunch/dinner I always say Slamwich Club.

The staff are AMAZING and incredibly helpful throughout the entire time, there has never been a time where I have not felt welcomed, absolutely love a chat and the staff make sure your okay for the whole dining experience.

Drinks: Try the daily specials wether it be a cocktail or a milkshake(cocktail special is usually advertised right at the bar when you walk in), but trust me it’s worth it to try these. Drinks are really well priced compared to other places in Stoke in my opinion. Bloom is just up the road from Slamwich Club but i would rather have a drink from here. The large for soft drinks is pretty much a Mega Pint so great for anyone like me who needs a lot lol.

Food: The portion sizes are unbelievable for the price. Great for people who like a lot of different food or if you’re like my partner, will stick with the Easy Cheesy(has always been on the menu since I have been going, have this with Honey Sriracha it’s peng!). Plus if your someone like me who loves trying new food I have not had such as vegan alternatives etc… this is the place. Fries are probably as important as the slamwich itself. Try, try and try all the loaded fries. You will be told that the portion sizes are big, but with whatever you order even if it’s 1 thing or multiple, take your time and enjoy the whole experience as you never feel rushed with the food which is perfect.

If you need anything changing about your food/drink order then let your server know, the place is more than happy to take things out of food for you if you don’t like certain things. Very quick service food and drink wise, if you need anything politely ask your server if they are around, they are incredibly helpful here.

Big review I know but it’s my favourite place to eat at; it’s lovely. Give it a go, you won’t...

We love the food here and would really recommend it! I am a veggie and so it can be hard to find a menu that caters for that but Slamwich have been amazing. The breakfast slamwichs are huge and so incredible, and the main options on the menu are so delicious!

Only wish I could give more stars but there is just a few issues we have had that haven't gone away. The service and the staff are really friendly but keep forgetting items when we have collected for takeaway. It has happened a few times now were we have ordered a few sides and a few dipping sauces and have been charged for them but have been left out. As it happened a few times I messaged them about it and was just ignored, so its a bit disappointing. I would double check all your order is in the bag or arrived before you pay. Hasn't happened when we eat in, but I did notice that things like a sauce or a side would arrive much later than the main so wondering if it's just communication error and the staff are a bit forgetful or too busy?

Sadly I wouldn't recommend the blondie dessert though, have ordered a few times in the hope it would change or it was a one off didsaster, but each time it was small, falling apart, and the flavour didn't massively jump out. Brownie was really delicious though :) hope they can sort these things out and we will be back again! ... just going to check we aren't charged for stuff we don't actually get.

Edit: since posting the review they have reached out and have been really lovely to check on our experience and also offer a 10% for next time! Really wonderful to have...

Food is awful, stone cold and then they tried to make me pay some for another one AS WELL as my old one. Possibly worst meal I’ve ever had...after leaving this review before leaving the owner came up extremely confrontational and was in my face asking me to change the review. She made the whole table feel uncomfortable... As we left she looked Out of the window and shook her head at me, this is the OWNER. WORST experience and will not be returning.. tried to make out that she offered me nachos free of charge as per the below reply, which is not true.

The below response is a COMPLETE pack of lies. Not once was it explained to me that the first sandwich was free otherwise I would of clearly had the second one for 50% of the original price. Secondly, who ever thinks it is appropriate to respond by saying she wasn’t confrontational was not sat at our table and didn’t experience the awful standard of customer service.she WAS confrontational and also rude. And just to clarify, I was NOT offered free nachos, no matter how much you insist To try and make the standard of your resteraint look better. Oh and if I had any problem with her speaking to me about it, I would of waited until I left. But I didn’t. What I didn’t expect was the sheer confrontation and RUDENESS I was approached by. Maybe instead of trying to come back to make it look like it was bad custom, you need to accept you failed on customer service and...

The staff were nice and the food was great! They did have good safety measures for covid as well. Will definitely go back. It was a little pricey, but you did get a lot of food. Edit: haven't eaten here recently as the menu seems to be mostly pulled pork or vegan, and isn't as good as when we first had it years ago. Response to owner: Sorry for any confusion about when the last time we visited was, I could have worded it better. We have been multiple times since my 5 star review a couple of years ago. The last 1.5 years we have came my partner and I have both found it to be less enjoyable than it first was, there have been a few times we even planned to eat here then couldn't find anything we liked on the menu and changed our minds. We have eaten here in the last 2 months, so it was pretty recent, I have just now only written the edited review (sorry for confusion). We just haven't found the food or menu to be as good as when I rated it 5 stars years ago. And we have had issues 2 out of the last 3 times we have visited with our bread (especially on the bottom) getting soggy. One of the times I even had to just remove the bottom piece of bread. I changed the star rating to what I would have reviewed it as if the last 2 times we ate here were our first times (since my first review was years ago), as that's been our recent experiences and the updated review I feel comfortable with.

Review for The Slamwich Club I recently visited The Slamwich Club and had a mixed experience. The food was great, and the atmosphere was spot on with fantastic decor and good music that set a lively tone. The menu had a lot of tempting options, and what we did get to try was delicious. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match up to the quality of the food and ambiance. After waiting a long time for someone to take our order at the table, I eventually went to the bar to order because it was taking too long. Our first drinks took a while to arrive, and we never even received our second order. Despite empty plates sitting in front of us and clear signs that we were ready for dessert, no staff approached us. After unsuccessfully trying to get the attention of two different waiters, we felt more like an inconvenience than valued customers. Eventually, we decided to skip dessert altogether, paid the bill, and left. The tables around us seemed to have designated waiters providing attentive service, which made our experience all the more disappointing. With the great food and inviting atmosphere, this place has so much potential to be a fantastic spot. However, the lack of proper service really took away from the experience. I hope this was just an off day, as I’d love to see The Slamwich Club live up to its full potential.

I decided to book this place before going to Regents Theatre as part of a surprise birthday night out for my wife. It’s definitely a quirky place with a twist on the classic sandwich or should I say “slamwich”. So for drinks I would recommend the “Mint Tulip” under the section “Slammin Sodas”. This drink os definitely on par with a mocktail, nice & refreshing which set me up for the food to arrive. Next for the “Slamwiches” we went for the “Pak it up, Pak it in”, this was priced fairly for amount of flavour packed within it, I would say less paste mix within it, & more crunch. We also went for the “Halt”, this was favourite of the two, nice & refreshing, halloumi cooked perfectly, maybe a little less lettuce, but other than that a lovely “slamwich”. For sides we went for the classic sweet potato fries & their Posh Fries, both of them cooked well, & would definitely say you could just share the larger sides between two. For dips or again “Slam Dunks” we chose the Truffle mayo, & the Coriander & Lime Sriracha both provided flavour however the Truffle mayo could of provided more of punch with the Truffle. Finally I washed it down with a “Shake it” going for the honeycomb crunch, definitely a wow factor, however unfortunately a bit too sickly, personally feeling like it was too syrupy.
