Cosy seating inside and lovely table & chairs out front in Piccadilly which is great on a sunny day watching the world go by with a drink or two. The owner is lovely and so are all the staff it’s perfect so for me definitely five stars.

I ducked in here after a wet rainy day on the campaign trail. It was nice and cozy and friendly. A perfect place to spend some down time with a good pint and catch up with friends.

An old, traditional pub that is very well located in the centre of Hanley. It's on the same street as the theatre as well as some of the best bars and eating places in town. It has a great selection of real ales, gins, and other spirits. The staff and landlady are very friendly and welcoming towards both locals and strangers alike which always makes it a pleasure to visit. Also, if you're in the pub before going to the theatre across the road you can even order drinks for the interval. Highly...

A great place to pop into if you are going the theatre or just in the area. Three to four decent real ales on tap at reasonable prices. Only down side is with it being a small place and in warmer weather the doors are left open at the rear and unfortunately all the smokers horrible smoke tends to come into the pub. Not good if you are a non-smoker...

NO FOOD ORDERED

Overall good service and a nice pint of guiness( I will update with a photo as I think a tour of hanley is in order) Pint was allowed too settle with 3/4 inch head(happy days) very few bubbles making it quite creamy.

Nice smoking area round back and is also partly sheltered, can get busy on...
