Gosh, what an outstanding place. Pubs are increasingly producing cheap meals, 2 for 1 etc. The Turk isnt one, he food is tremendous. Its not often now that the veg is fresh and perfectly cooked, mostly defrosted rubbish. The ambience is straight out of a old magazine. Wonderful beams and woodwork. I'm sure when i pop in in December theres going to be a roaring fire, but not today in this heat. £50 bought 2 sunday lunches with 2 pints. Probably at my top end of costs for a Sunday dinner, but certainly a place i will return and return. Great services from all the young ladies, im 75, all ladies are young to me tho. Brilliantly attentive an charming.

A very busy pub. Saturday night rammed. We had a table booked. The "music" was just instrumental noise. Very strange but they turned it off in our area when we asked as we couldn't hear ourselves think or talk to one another. Food was ok. A different selection to run of the mill pubs which was nice. Everything looked nice. Some things didn't have a huge amount of taste. The fish cakes were ball shaped but didn't have much fish in them. We would return but not on a Saturday night.

Absolutely delicious food!!!! Myself and my husband with had Cod fish cake for starters, and then I had chicken skewers, taziki, pitta bread, humus, and salad. I ate all of it!! Especially the humus. I asked the girl waiter what the recipe was. So hopefully I can try this at home. My husband had cod fish and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. We were both full do couldn't have pudding The atmosphere was great! The pub was full of character, and the staff were very friendly 😀

Decided on a day out to Alcester and having walked round this lovely village for some time we called in to the Turks Head for much needed lunch and refreshments. Best decision we have made for some time . A marvellous traditional english pub. From a well balanced menu we decided on a meat platter to share and it was absolutely awesome. BBQ brisket slices that melt in your mouth , pork rib bites , chilli and garlic duck ,chorizo sausage ,olives balsamic onions ciabatta slices and salad with dressing . This meal had everything flavour ,texture just the right amount of spice and heat washed down with a glass of "Jimbo" bitter (a new beer to me but one i intend to try again as soon as possible ) well kept , crystal clear and perfect temperature. Well done Turks Head best pub meal I have had in...
