Our first meal out since restaurants re-opened and this was a spontaneous decision as we were on a river walk nearby. We checked the Google reviews before we popped in and it looked very promising.

Staff were lovely and super helpful. Plenty of hand sanitiser, track and trace option.

Interior really nicely done. Menu options plentiful. We had the children with us (10 and 13) so went for the traditional curry options.

Service was quick and efficient and food served fabulously hot so big thumbs up.

Children said it was the best curry they had ever had. It was very good but wouldn't rate full 5 stars as tikka masala was a bit bland and the onion in the dopiaza was pretty crunchy. Portion sizes spot on but certainly not generous so nothing was left. Naan breads excellent.

On site parking was super helpful. Only negative was the gents toilet as my husband said it was really quite bad for a restaurant with a sticky floor :( Ladies was perfect.

Rude staff made us feel very unwelcome- we left without dining here - family of 5 straight after us left in similar circumstances as their children were made unwelcome. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking forward to an enjoyable meal with family as there are plenty of nice places to eat around here where the service is good and you are welcomed as a customer.

Amazing response below from owner making out they were full booked and customers need to book before arrival (grandiose!)but an empty car park when we and the other customers arrived - establishments have the right to refuse service but professional as were not drunk or rowdy - like I said plenty of other places where we can spend our time and money where the staff know how to provide good customer service with a welcoming smile 😊. Thank you for your response at least you have acknowledged my feedback now which you failed to do when i was at your restaurant. When did i say the food was terrible? I said the portions were small and overpriced. I’m puzzled how you can charge £14.95 for a side dish, I. Can post photo of the the mixed grill if you would like? You then charged me £8.95 for 2 Shish & 4 small pieces of chicken tikka so do you really think that is good value? Had the mixed grill been a proper quantity I would not have needed to order any additional food. Soho Tavern (check website)offer a mixed grill which consists of multiple lamb chops, chicken tikka, shisha & chicken wings for £13.95. You then charged me £12 for 1 pint of Cobra shocking.
