Cake Box — Restaurant in Stroud

Cake Box were one of the main suppliers we absolutely knew we wanted once we started wedding planning. Beth’s cakes are absolutely gorgeous, and we also decided to add on the grazing table as well!

We ordered our sample flavours and struggled for about a week on what flavours to pick, all of them were just toooo good!! We went for Lemon & Elderflower on the bottom tier and Chocolate & Raspberry on the top tier in the end! We decided to go for a square cake as we had seen these on Cake Box’s social media and liked that it was something a bit different. We also added pressed flowers to this! The cake was GORGEOUS, from the sponge to the icing to the aesthetic!! There was not a single crumb left by the end of the evening!

The grazing table was a hit as well!! We wanted to have a nice selection of various sweet treats for guests to enjoy! We had brownies, blondies, doughnuts, tiffin, cupcakes, personalised iced shortbread and it was all laid out so beautifully.

🎂 Our wedding cake from Beth at The Cake Box Nailsworth was absolutely perfect! Beth was so friendly and organised, during the planning process. She made everything feel effortless, and I always felt confident everything was in great hands. Tasting the cake samples was a personal highlight of the wedding planning process, I could have chosen so many flavours as they all taste delicious.

On the day, Beth set everything up beautifully. The cake looked absolutely perfect and fitted perfectly with our theme and décor. And the taste… just incredible! Each layer was so delicious, and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic it was. You could tell Beth is an incredible baker and cake decorator, thank you so much for making it perfect for us.

Cake Box did our wedding cake back in October 2022 and we were delighted with how it looked and tasted! What initially drew me to their website and Instagram was how incredibly stylish their cakes looked so I was so pleased they were available, brilliant value and also local to our venue. We mainly liaised with Beth and she was super helpful and accommodating during the planning process. We loved having the taster box at home but it was a struggle to decide on flavours as they were all so good!

I didn’t get to each much of it on the day (too busy dancing!) but it seemed to go down very well with the guests as it all disappeared. Luckily the venue saved us some of each flavour and we very much enjoyed eating it the day after!
