Biz-R — Restaurant in Sunderland

Been a semi regular visitor of Biz-R for a good while now. Good spot in the centre with nearby parking and bus routes. They have a good selection of home made cakes, sandwiches and paninis. I usually opt for tea and a toastie but my favourite item has to be the chocolate flapjack. Prices seem a little high but happy to pay for an independent spot. Staff are always lovely and helpful. It can be hard to find a seat at times but just shows its popularity and staff will usually help to sort something out. The cafe has a real comforting, classic vibe, I love the signature blue and there’s something quaint about hearing the metro pass under you, I do think the decor could do with a little tidy up. It’s worth noting toilets...

Have always had coffee here since you opened whenever in town. I rarely shop in Sunderland now, but always pop in if I do. Same goes for Durham too. Yesterday, I bought a latte to go. Came here with the family for a snack and a cuppa...staff were friendly and very prompt...even asking for more milk for my cuppa wasn't a issue...some places you go to.they just moan and mutter under their breath...been a couple of times now and it's become my fav cuppa place...prices are on par with other establishments ...so don't moan about cuppa prices...tea actually was tea and not some stewed slop served from a urn...well done staff!
