Came across this place when out for a wander in the city centre. I had planned to eat out but hadn't planned the where...

Anyway came across this place walked passed and decided to Google as it stood out. Decided to go in and chance it and didn't regret doing so. Waited to be seated for all of a few moments, greeted by friendly staff who looked happy to be there, seated by one and then served by another who had only just started, I think the place is new so I feel like they're all doing really well.

Decided to get a starter each to split. One grilled chicken wings and one grilled halloumi. Girlfriend got the sweet chilli parmo burger and I got the Tandoori parmo burger.

The wings were perfectly cooked, out skin had a nice crisp and the meat was tender and succulent. The halloumi was the same a nice blend of crunchy and soft. The halloumi comes with what I believe was sweet chilli but the sauces on the table were to be tried also and even the sizzler sauce isn't hot but just a nice amount of spice but all of them filled with mouth watering flavour.

Both of the parmo burgers were absolutely spot on, the tandoori on mine was flavourful but not over powering and the combination although it seemed a little different was perfect.

I feel like the decor was nice and created a good atmosphere, them having the kitchen open so you can see what's going on when passing is always something I've liked to see in restaurants. This place is new and I hope that when they get busier they maintain the service we received. We have already recommended it to our fellow foodies and sent them links and pictures so they will be in to try it out shortly.

Honestly the staff are superb, even the new girl, she apologised ahead of time for her not knowing the system which made it feel more authentic than she wasn't fully up to speed but willing to learn. I had some questions about the decor and the staff asked what I believe was the owner my question and they answered, seeming also super friendly. I like pots to put my dips in and requested some extras to add the table sauces into and they provided.

Super accommodating which is rare these days.

3 of us went to Manjaros Sunderland today for the first time and wow we were impressed to say the least! To start with we were greated by a waitress we later found out was called Sophie, we were given the menu and seated, the food was out of this world! The flavours and the portion sizes were way above our expectations! I got a hot shot parso which is the best parmo I've ever had, my boyfriend and our friend got a smashed burger which I had a bite out of and was unreal! We all loved the food but what really made the experience extra special was Sophie! She was very attentive and read through the menu explaining every dish and was very welcoming and down to earth, we all agreed that she made our experience from a 8 out of 10 to a 12 out of 10 she was amazing! I then spoke to the manager and praised Sophies customer service skills and we were surprised to find the manager was just as lovely and really accommodating! Arrive for my order collection time to be told 15 mins wait. Did seem a little busy so agreed to wait. Went back to the car came back in to be told a further 5 minutes. Stood waiting a further 15 mins. In the meantime a total of 6 delivery people arrived after me with order collection times also after mine and got served almost immediately! I then get told my order is ready they will just go grab it to then wait whilst they hand food to a further 3 delivery guys. In the meantime I'm stood in a crowded doorway a total of now of 35- 40minutes over my collection time and my partner had to go ask if my order was ready as they still haven't brought it over despite telling me it was ready. This is my favourite place to order from but your customer service in my recent experience wass appalling, and you need to be more accurate with your collection times I could have spent an hour doing something more worthwhile.
