Bombay Barn — Restaurant in Sunderland

Bombay barn, hmm what a company (I don't mean that in a goodway). Ordeed the 30th of June 2023 Food 2 hours late, and stone cold. And that's just the start rang to say we weren't happy. Man on the phone offering us a offer on the next time we order, no point in that as wasn't going to order again. Then asked for the food back- ( food hygiene officer would have a feild day with this one) for 50% refund offered to get a driver to come and pick it up and to give us a refund. Which we agreed too for them to then ring me asking me to bring the food to them. John went to the shop with the food. Man on the till pretending to give him a refund, 2 massive man come out the back clearly planned, shouting you aren't getting a refund, and then shouted grab him grab him only way they could get out of the shop was by chucking the garlic sauces at them to distract them which he shouldn't of done but it was the only way he could get out, they then chased him up the street with weapons going to attack him.

Police have been informed. Please share. Quite clearly if my partner hadn't got away they were gonna assault him. Only posting because maybe the next person to complain won't be so lucky!

Baring in mind they took the food back and kept our money that spent on the food so we are still...

Never known anything like it so got a mixed kebab and a pizza came to £26 it came the pizza was stone cold have ate warmer the next day the kebab had the most strangest smell ever known on a kebab chicken was all fatty and not much for nearly £10 rang up to be basically called a liar as lady said it was in the time frame I ordered from this place every week if not more than once a week why would I lie never had a bad order until this 1 time they then came out to collect the food took it back to the shop to say what did I want to happen was very rude who ever it was messaging me on there Facebook page I said well yous should be willing to come up with solutions so Said would refund and take 3-5 days I said I would leave nice review even after the carry on to be told why am I threatening which not one person was threatened and then I was blocked so I have never received no refund and my order was taken back to the shop everytime I comment on there Facebook page asking about my refund I am then blocked I would never ever ever order again bunch...

Took advantage of the pizza deal (If you can call it that) and got a Kebab Kid and a Hot and Spicy, both pizzas were absolutely lathered in cheese with next to no toppings underneath.

Usually kebab pizzas from other take outs will have a generous amount of meat and be partly crispy, at Bombay Barn the meat is oily, thinly sliced and buried under the cheese and there isn’t a lot of it either. The same with the Hot and Spicy, one small slice of both pepperoni and salami on each slice and again, plastered in cheese. There really isn’t an excuse to be this cheap on the toppings as they weren’t the best quality either.

To top it all off, the Tango Iceblast, a large, for £5.00? I’ve seen £3.99 for a larger cup than they provide, again, there isn’t an excuse to be this cheap.
