Starbucks — Restaurant in Sunderland

Ordered 1 x coffee, 2 x frappuccinos, 1 muffin and 1 x cookie. Customer greeting and service appalling; no eye contact, smile or acknowledgement of the order. Seats available but ALL tables full of used cups, plates and trays. Cleared a table myself so we could be seated. 2 x customers placed orders after mine. I received my coffee but nothing else; other customers were served and seated - still waiting for the frappuccinos and food - 15 mins later 😶 No apology, acknowledgement or understanding of urgency. Four staff on duty - 1 making drinks, 1cleaning kitchen equipment, 1 putting things away in the fridge and the other restocking shelves. Random backpack abandoned on a table - no owner. When brought to their attention I was told not to worry, it happens all the time and the owner may have popped over the road to Greggs or KFC for something, and they'll eventually come back for it! Finally received the frappuccinos by which time my coffee was cold. Dirty tray full of cups and plates which I had placed on the counter to clear our own table, was still where I had placed it, with other cups, plates and trays continuing to be stacked / balanced on already full tables by new customers arriving. Avoid avoid avoid. A lesson in customer service and care is needed here for ALL of the staff on this shift....

Always lovely coffee here but customer service is terrible. I called for a coffee at the drive through which I had to ask for a napkin and open car door as it was dripping out the top of the cup. The person said use the drain of its too full we have just had the drive cleaned! I wasn’t pouring it out it was boiling hot and dripping out so had to open the door. There was more on my car door frame don’t think any even spilt on the driveway. He should learn to think before he opens his mouth to speak in a rude tone...

This is by far the worst Starbucks I been to. The service and staff are terrible and lack the basic customer service skills. No smile, no eyes contact, dump your order in front of you and never say thank you. All kids working there and lack basic service skills. Coffee is often terrible and not to the standard of other starbucks. There is always loads of staff , yet slow and always talking among themselves and ignore customers. A terribly...
