After giving for several years I decided with a friend decided to go it a second opportunity after refurbishment disappointed is an understatement date of visit 25th March No large platters No steak options No fish options No Pizza options So our choice was extremely limited I opted for a burger on arrival the only way I could describe as cremated the chips were plentiful full but uncooked hard inside my friend also ordered the burger option with bacon also it was cremated on pointing to the waiting staff no apology but “I’ll inform the chef. We decided to opt for wine no wine menus on the table the only way to find out the options & prices were to stand in a queue this I believe against the licensing laws as all prices should be displayed. We also found it appeared regular clients were served before us the staff were very familiar with the people they were serving We in total spent over £100 with “food” & drink I’ve raised this issue with the General Manager & with there customer service team at head office neither of which want to take ownership of my findings. I must point out too the General Manager appears to be anonymous to speak with directly. To date 24th April still no satisfactory resolution to the points raised above. We've generally had great experiences here at our local pub - the staff are usually the best thing about the place. However we came in on Christmas Eve & was served by a less than friendly lass at the bar. She took our order and all was paid for - we then had another member of staff come over & tell us that what we'd ordered and paid for wasn't available. We asked for several other items from the menu only to be told they weren't available either. To be fair this may be due to running out of things at Christmas. When we eventually found something that was available for us, we felt that they weren't particularly apologetic. Also, the first meals we ordered came with a free drink. Our new (cheaper) order didn't and we were made to then cover the cost of the drinks - which I thought was unfair when we'd made the first order in good faith. Would never ever return here again went in today we were going to order food had a 18 month year old child with us got her out of the buggy when in search of a high chair to find only with no straps to secure your child in so asked a member of staff for a high chair to be told they are in the corner that was the one high chair so I said it has no straps to be told we don't have straps who on earth let's there baby sit in a highchair not strapped in nobody she didn't even apologise so I left upset at the treatment we had just received no the wonder its empty its unsafe and unapologetic and unhelpful staff lost customers when it look like they could do with some in there dead as doornail ,thanks for my review no apology then your response s disgusting and I will contacting your head office the about your unsafe high chair and...
