Read moreI was disappointed by my purchase today. The ladies were lovely and the cafe quirky and in a nice spot but £10.80 for a toastie and a coffee is extortionate! I don’t even pay that in central London! If you’re going to charge this much I expect second to none on quality and value for money. The toastie was on just normal sliced bread, not even a nice sourdough or ‘posh’ bread. The coffee didn’t even taste like coffee, just caramel flavoured milk. A real shame, if the drink and food was good quality I wouldn’t have written a review, just taken the price on the chin but I feel taken advantage of, having parted with my hard earned money to receive...
Read moreWhat a great little coffee shop this is! The coffee is that good that I couldn't leave without having a second cup and they also have a selection of really excellent teas from local company Cupsmith.
Basil and Blue may only be small inside but the warm and friendly welcome couldn't have been greater. There is covered seating available outside and dog walkers are well catered for with bowls of water and blankets available for their dogs.
A visit to this place is now obligatory for us whenever we're in Chobham and I can't see it taking long to fill the first of our...
