Poppins Restaurant & Cafe - Camberley — Restaurant in Surrey Heath

Very much over rated. We been there yesterday for breakfast. Staff is just okay could have been better welcoming. Ordered veggie breakfast with a black Americana (by the way Americana is £2.50) and Spanish omelette with little bit green chilli. Surprisingly they don’t have green chilli. (We should have judged at this point what’s coming). I requested waiter for little hot milk to go with Americana which never arrived. Food arrived very late (around 30 minutes later). Spanish omelette is burnt and no taste at all. Veggies breakfast is just okay with 1 fried egg and 1 veggie sausage, 2 hash brown, 2 fried tomatoes, beans, some mushrooms and toast but not worth the price £7.90. I rather go to weatherspoons near by. Total I paid is £18 (wife didn’t take any drink). I feel this is so expensive for a normal tasteless breakfast. I will avoid and...

We visit Camberley once a month from Guildford on a Saturday as we much prefer the town for it's friendliness. On a lunchtime we always stop by Poppins,no matter how busy they are they are welcoming and act quickly to find you a table,which is cleaned and tidied after every customer. Because we go peak time the wait on the order can take a time but it's to be expected for how busy they are. The food is good,the coffee nice and strong,we will continue to use it...

Perfect little cafe that absolutely knows it's clientèle and caters well for it. Good selection of food, but feel the veggie breakfast could include a sausage instead of the extra egg. Service was excellent, efficient and polite. My only criticism is I felt the portions were too big. I was ravenous and still couldn't finish mine. I would happily pay the same for less food and would be pleased not to see any...
