As a family we have been using this restaurant for a number of years now and I cannot recommend the staff, the owner and the food highly enough. It is a very very pleasant atmosphere whenever we use this restaurant. Also, if you want to come here on the weekend and you like some nice music then there is always the best of Motown, rock ‘n’ roll and jazz music which heightens the beautiful atmosphere it’s not one of those restaurants where you have to whisper! If you come in the daytime there is a lovely quiet atmosphere with music playing softly in the background so that is the atmosphere sort of things done and dusted. The food is just simply exceptional! We as a family have been and visited a lot of of the Mediterranean and a lot of Turkey and we are no strangers to this cuisine and unlike some places where they can have an off day with the food, this place is just simply 10/10 every time we eat here it has a high standard that never fails! Last but not least, the staff and the manager/owner UTKU Is always so welcoming and always makes a fuss of the kids and you can tell he is a family man himself because he simply don’t know what to do enough for the kids when we eat here. We have a four-year-old who isn’t easy and he always comes to the table when he sees we are having a bit of trouble settling our youngest and he is so patient and always puts a smile on the kids faces!
If you have not been to this restaurant then I highly highly recommend you do so because there is no other Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant out there like Troy and that is simply a fact! We have eaten in these type of restaurants in central London and also abroad as mentioned above and there is nothing that simply comes near Troy!!!
Keep up the good work guys and thank you, if you and your college see this review then you will know that what I’m writing here is stating how thankful I am and you know we always express this face-to-face. If I could give this a higher score out of five, I would because it exceeds expectations on...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in the main High Street (where the shops are) in Camberley, the nearest car park is five minutes away (next to The Square and another one at The Atrium). There were about four tables outside, it's cold so we preferred to be inside, the door handle showed elegance and we were greeted by a cheerful lady with a beautiful eyes and dimples, it was about 1100 in the morning, it seems we're the early birds. The place is elegant, cozy so we felt very good. Sat near the window and we were attended with joy, you know that feeling when you are welcome. I need a space to work with my laptop and the furniture was perfect. We were not disappointed with the food, for me, the most important in meat is the tenderness and the taste, the aubergine was consumed till the last colour in the plate, I had to scratch the bread but who cares, that was delicious! The chicken? Moist and tasty, I really don't eat lamb yet I tasted it, soft and managed to ate five slices with a dab of lemon. I was testing the lady who served us on how she could cope up with one request to another request and another request (extra hot water and lemon) and she gladly just accommodated the requests. - with a smile. The success of a business relies on how the customers/guests are treated, the door was even opened by Mr. Mehmet and the welcome attitude goes a long way. A well-attended visit, welcoming gestures, extra mile services and most of all, with the delicious food, our money was well spent. Happy tummy and new friends - priceless (Dennis and Mehmet). A suggestion from my friend Rafael, consider being consistent with the colour of the tissue as white seems too bright with the overall elegance tone of the place. And yes, just before I forgot, the restroom is with baby changing table and a grab bar...
Read moreWow what a find this place is, the first thing that strikes you when you walk in is the ambience, a very clean and modern design, the second is the food, I had the garlic mushrooms to start, with a creamy sauce which was delicious, my partner had the KIng Prawns which were amazing, for mains I had the lamb shish on skewers, the lamb was cooked to perfection, the best lamb I have had in years, my partner had the lamb casserole which was really flavoursome, for dessert we had baklava which was to die for, the other thing which was nice was one of the staff (not sure if he was the owner) was really attentive, and you could see that he really wanted us to have a lovely experiance and made us feel so welcome, my partner has an allegy (bell peppers) and as everything was made from fresh this could easily be accommodated, although I am in my late sixties, they had a bar as well, I imagine young people would love to be here with their friends, its really good for any age though, if you love your food, so thanks Troy for a very...
