Zizzi - Camberley — Restaurant in Surrey Heath

Went here for our Valentines meal and it was bad service was incredibly slow servely understaffed we was sat right next to the kitchen and the line was full of plates of food waiting to be taken to tables.

I saw one Antipasti sharing board sitting there for 1hr 45mins and 3 separate waiters took it to 3 separate tables each one refused it.

That isn't even the worst thing about tonight took 20mins for someone to come take our order after being sat down no drinks where offered until someone came to take our order starter was a 20min wait whilst we was waiting I see a member of staff stick he's finger deep into the bread of a plate on the line and then pick it up and pass it back to the cook to tell him to warm it up and then after placed it back on the plate and had the audacity to bring it to our table like I didn't just see him do that the manger then had it remade when I refused it the mains came out after a long wait they where Luke warm and the pasta wasn't great either we ate these as we was hungry and then the desserts came out after another long wait it was the trio of sharing desserts the little donuts and brownie pudding where the best thing about the whole meal but the cream on the Panna cotta had gone bad and split.

To be fair to the manager he was gracious and was nothing but apologetic offering to remake the puddings free of charge but by then we had enough of the poor food and service he only charged use for the mains and took the starter,dessert and drinks off the bill he was severely let down by he's staff tonight the restaurant was a shambles people around us where sending food back and there was a gang of Uber delivery drivers waiting for food orders everything was back logged and food coming out of the kitchen wasn't up to standards.

Was a very regular customer at this zizis but after tonight never again food was sub par and some of the waiting staff have poor hygiene practices standing their fingering people's food and having it reheated before bringing it...

Visited last night 7pm 16/06/22, prebooked an outside table online via Zizzi's website, easy. Lovely warm evening, Initial greeting was welcoming we were shown outside & allowed to choose a table, all good 👍. Within a minute or two the front of House Manager, James introduced himself, very polite, warm and welcoming, we were informed about the new Speedy Zizzi's web ordering, We both found this system a bit clunky, not great to navigate, not ideal really and decided against using it, maybe an app guys like Pizza Express's would be better, inc loyalty promotions, deals etc?. Bear in mind this is the 1st time visiting this restaurant in 2 yrs, pre covid used to come almost monthly, so was hoping for similar Great Service & Very Good food. James looked after us throughout the whole evening, was superb, not over bearing, or pushy at all, nothing was too much, James #GREAT SERVICE an asset. So, onto Food & Drinks, #DRINKS wise good choice, but again guys more, Beer, Lager, Ale choices please, not everyone wants standard Peroni, luckily bottled Gran Reserva was available which I Very much like, my companions Wine was also most pleasant, much better choice available on the wine front though, good 👍. #FOOD, had 3 Course Set menu for £22.95, was good value for money but not excellent, used to be better menu options, more varied, more meat dishes. However, the food we chose, starter, main and desert were all good, The two standout dishes are pictured, Rustica Piccante Pizza, was #DELICIOUS, Very tasty indeed made by Brandon the Chef 👍 and the New Choc-Banana Brownie Sundae was also most #YUMMY and very well presented. The Whole evening both #SERVICE & #CULINARY were Very Very good. As mentioned above in my opinion only a few tweaks required, Ordering APP & Beverage choices maybe, All in All a Very Welcome back to #ZIZZIS Camberley, i will return. Keep up the Great...

What a fantastic way to celebrate our Mum’s birthday! After enjoying a trip to the cinema, we decided to head to Zizzi’s, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and our server, Joonathan, truly made our experience memorable. His friendly demeanor and attentive service made us feel special right from the start.

We opted for the set three-course meal, which offered an impressive variety of dishes. It was a tough decision with so many tempting options, but we were thrilled with our choices! Each course was served promptly, and you could tell everything was freshly prepared.

It had been a while since our last visit to Zizzi’s, but after today’s experience, we’re already planning our return. Joonathan’s exceptional service and the delicious menu options have definitely won us over. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a great meal in a welcoming environment, I highly recommend Zizzi’s.
