I recently had the pleasure of dining at RotiCorner, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for the evening.
Food: The menu at RotiCorner is a delightful journey through authentic and innovative dishes. I started with the classic samosas, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for the paneer tikka masala and garlic naan. The paneer tikka masala was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of spice, while the naan was soft and fragrant. Every bite was a testament to the chef's expertise and passion for Indian cuisine. The vegetarian options are plentiful and cater to a variety of tastes, ensuring that everyone finds something to love.
Shisha: One of the highlights of RotiCorner is their shisha lounge. The shisha is expertly prepared with a wide range of flavors to choose from. It's the perfect way to unwind and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends. The lounge area is comfortable and stylish, adding to the overall experience.
Service: The service at RotiCorner is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to ensure you have a memorable dining experience. A special shoutout to Ambika, who did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and well taken care of. She was quick to offer recommendations and made sure our glasses were never empty.
Ambiance: The restaurant's decor is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern elements, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or on a romantic date, RotiCorner provides the perfect setting.
Value: Considering the quality of the food and the level of service, RotiCorner offers excellent value for money. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for both casual meals and special occasions.
In conclusion, RotiCorner is a gem of a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the second time that we had eaten here. We had crisp poppadoms to start with and a nice selection of relishes. The buffalo wings were large and nicely spiced, although it didnt come with the blue cheese sauce which we had to ask for. We couldn't decide on whether to have the Kashmiri, or the drunken lamb chops, so we ordered both, and neither disappointed. The chops had lots of meat on them and a large amount of marinade. Both dishes were pretty spicy and for me the drunken chops just had the edge, flavour-wise. For mains we had the jungle lamb curry, a lamb tikka dhansak, an aloo gobi, and a garlic and chilli naan. The jungle lamb curry had a nice blend of spices, although the lamb was a bit chewy. The dhansak lacked a depth and contrast of flavour, particularly between sweet and sour, and may have benefited from chopping the pineapple into the dish, rather than having a ring sat atop of the curry. To be fair, this main was not on the menu, and we had to order it specially. Again, the meat was a bit fatty/gristly. The serving staff were very polite, but it was difficult to judge the atmosphere when we visited, because we were only one of two tables that were occupied. I would imagine that the place would have a good vibe when full. One nice touch was the 2-4-1 cocktails between 12 a.m. and 6 p.m. The bar was very well stocked and the generously-sized Long Island iced teas were well prepared. I'd definitely go back to Roti Corner for its starters, but I would probably try some different...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreĀ£260!!!! Went for late lunch on a Sunday. We had 3 kids with us and 2 drivers so I canāt even blame the price on the booze! Starters to share, 2 x rice, 4 breads, the kids had chicken kati, and adults had 4 curries which came to Ā£260. We did really like this place, but the service was poor and very slow - the food didnāt take long, but drinks were sloooowwwww, Iām talking for some water, or a bottled drink. My biggest issue is the price. The mark up is obscene. Ā£7 for a pink lemonade, Ā£4.50 for a J20 and Ā£3.80 for a bottle of tap water. There arenāt prices on the drink menu and as much as I enjoy the food and some of the staff are really lovely, the drink mark up is too much. The service charge is included in the bill, and the last 2 occasions Iāve been in there, the service has been so poor that I wouldnāt have left a tip. It was quiet as well, so no excuse for slow service when bringing the drinks over. We wonāt be going back due to price and sloppy service. Shame because the food is good! Just not worth the price. Itās...
