We went to Esha for the first time tonight and were absolutely delighted with all aspects of out visit. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The staff were so friendly and helpful and very kindly gave my grandson a free ice cream and some lollies, and, on hearing of my husbands birthday the gave us a round of drinks, which was a lovely ending to an enjoyable evening. The cod bhuna was absolutely gorgeous, as were the chicken tikka masala, the keema naan, the poppadums and the rice. The waiting time between courses wasnt very long either. I would like to thank the owners of the restaurant for such a lovely meal tonight as they didn't dissapoint us in any way shape or form. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent with the owner and waiters coming over to see if everything was ok for us all, and we were all very pleased with the way the meals came out to us all. Very bright & light, booths a little cramped for four of us, but that's where we were directed, despite it being very early evening- we hadn't booked though & the restaurant filled up quite quickly. Excellent service throughout & great food. My daughter was disappointed she couldn't have the choice between cod or salmon (as the menu stated) for her chosen curry- it was just some unknown 'fish'. She said the fish was fine though, despite her favourite elsewhere being a salmon bhuna! Happy to receive a free...
