Three times Iāve been to this place, and honestly never ever again. First time I came, it was quiet I took my baby upstairs to the soft play and there was no one else up there but it was filthy. Food scraps on the floor, high chairs dirty and the soft play area dirty. But I didnāt think much of it because of it being a kids area. Second time I came, the staff were rude, unfriendly and not welcoming but still I continued upstairs to the soft play which again was dirty and messy. I ordered me and my son some pancakes to share and felt the need to Milton wipe the highchair before he went in there. He threw some bits of food on the floor and when the woman came upstairs to collect the plates she made a comment about making sure I cleaned up my mess. Which of course I wouldāve done but there was no need for that comment, especially when the place was messy already. Third time and for definite my last time, the soft play area was very busy and loud, and again it was absolutely filthy. My little boys white socks were black only minutes after being in the ball pit and he doesnāt even crawl or walk. Parking at the cafe is awful and I had parked in front of another shop which had no mention of no parking and instead of being asked nicely if I could move my car, I was rudely told to go and move my car. Typically as I was trying to leave my son had thrown up so I was cleaning that up, when the employee came up again and rudely told me to move my car and told me to leave my son with someone. I told her I was leaving and she pulled the most disgusted face at me and muttered something under her breath. I felt so embarrassed as there was loads of people upstairs. When I went to my car, the owner of the shop was fine and was not rushing me at all. Itās such a shame, because I loved the concept of this. A little coffee shop with a baby friendly soft play but I will never ever return. Iāve got friends who go there and Iāve also told them of my experience and they will not be returning either. The staff clearly donāt want to be here, and shouldāve picked premises better if you donāt want to be dealing with parking issues. The one positive, the...
Read moreFor some reason Google has this place as being dog-friendly, not their fault at all but in case anyone is checking for that, it isn't. Although the lady was kind enough to let me run through and grab a sandwich. Can't help but feel they're missing a trick there being next to a doggy daycare / groomers. Although I appreciate the target market here is breakfast from the industrial estate, they are open until 5pm, yet the cold lunch selection was just cheese, tuna or ham, although the tuna was gone. To try and make the sandwich a little more exciting I opted for a mix of cheese and ham, I was disappointed to get what's in the photo - cheap, thin ham, absolutely no salad or offer of any condiments. For £4. I was really disappointed. This appears to be the only cafe surrounded by housing estates full of people who WFH and to support that, the only person in there was on a laptop with coffee, so again, feel they're really missing a trick. I'd love to see this place succeed and I'm sure they do well enough from breakfast but it's a shame to not have the same...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was my first visit today and I was really disappointed. I visited with my mother and daughter. I arrived at 1.30 and said Iād never been before and was told it was Ā£3.25 to use the soft play and they close at 3.00. This was fine so went upstairs to then have to go back downstairs to get a menu (good job my mother was with me - I could have been given a menu upon entry). I had to take the menu upstairs again then back downstairs to order food and drinks. The drinks came but the crepes were 20 minutes behind (went back downstairs to see what the hold-up was and they were just done, cold but done). Would have been nice to have them at the same time as the drinks. Two teas, two crepes, one toast and one can of pop Ā£22 plus the Ā£3.25 entry. I generally just didnāt feel welcome and is such a shame because I like the business model. I spoke to someone on the next table who thought the same but had said their previous visit was...
