Three times I’ve been to this place, and honestly never ever again. First time I came, it was quiet I took my baby upstairs to the soft play and there was no one else up there but it was filthy. Food scraps on the floor, high chairs dirty and the soft play area dirty. But I didn’t think much of it because of it being a kids area. Second time I came, the staff were rude, unfriendly and not welcoming but still I continued upstairs to the soft play which again was dirty and messy. I ordered me and my son some pancakes to share and felt the need to Milton wipe the highchair before he went in there. He threw some bits of food on the floor and when the woman came upstairs to collect the plates she made a comment about making sure I cleaned up my mess. Which of course I would’ve done but there was no need for that comment, especially when the place was messy already. Third time and for definite my last time, the soft play area was very busy and loud, and again it was absolutely filthy. My little boys white socks were black only minutes after being in the ball pit and he doesn’t even crawl or walk. Parking at the cafe is awful and I had parked in front of another shop which had no mention of no parking and instead of being asked nicely if I could move my car, I was rudely told to go and move my car. Typically as I was trying to leave my son had thrown up so I was cleaning that up, when the employee came up again and rudely told me to move my car and told me to leave my son with someone. I told her I was leaving and she pulled the most disgusted face at me and muttered something under her breath. I felt so embarrassed as there was loads of people upstairs. When I went to my car, the owner of the shop was fine and was not rushing me at all. It’s such a shame, because I loved the concept of this. A little coffee shop with a baby friendly soft play but I will never ever return. I’ve got friends who go there and I’ve also told them of my experience and they will not be returning either. The staff clearly don’t want to be here, and should’ve picked premises better if you don’t want to be dealing with parking issues. The one positive, the...

For some reason Google has this place as being dog-friendly, not their fault at all but in case anyone is checking for that, it isn't. Although the lady was kind enough to let me run through and grab a sandwich. Can't help but feel they're missing a trick there being next to a doggy daycare / groomers. Although I appreciate the target market here is breakfast from the industrial estate, they are open until 5pm, yet the cold lunch selection was just cheese, tuna or ham, although the tuna was gone. To try and make the sandwich a little more exciting I opted for a mix of cheese and ham, I was disappointed to get what's in the photo - cheap, thin ham, absolutely no salad or offer of any condiments. For £4. I was really disappointed. This appears to be the only cafe surrounded by housing estates full of people who WFH and to support that, the only person in there was on a laptop with coffee, so again, feel they're really missing a trick. I'd love to see this place succeed and I'm sure they do well enough from breakfast but it's a shame to not have the same...

It was my first visit today and I was really disappointed. I visited with my mother and daughter. I arrived at 1.30 and said I’d never been before and was told it was Ā£3.25 to use the soft play and they close at 3.00. This was fine so went upstairs to then have to go back downstairs to get a menu (good job my mother was with me - I could have been given a menu upon entry). I had to take the menu upstairs again then back downstairs to order food and drinks. The drinks came but the crepes were 20 minutes behind (went back downstairs to see what the hold-up was and they were just done, cold but done). Would have been nice to have them at the same time as the drinks. Two teas, two crepes, one toast and one can of pop Ā£22 plus the Ā£3.25 entry. I generally just didn’t feel welcome and is such a shame because I like the business model. I spoke to someone on the next table who thought the same but had said their previous visit was...

I came here for a baby playdate & coffee catch up, we all had a great time. The ladies working there were very lovely and helpful, the service was pretty speedy, food was very delicious & the whole place was very clean. The downstairs is for dining in and Takeaway food, whereas upstairs is for those who want the soft play. If you go for soft play you order food and drinks at the till downstairs and the ladies will bring the food and drinks to you at your table which is great. With the soft play section we especially loved just how it was clearly made with parents in mind with the mirrors facing the play area so that when you're sat at your table with a coffee or food you can see where your little ones are for peace of mind. I would definitely return & I recommend it!

My son and I popped in today, for the first time. I love hot chocolate and have had many during my life, but today, this fantastic place surpassed my hot chocolate dreams. I had a Biscoff hot chocolate and it was the most delicious drink I've ever tasted. Along with this I had a breakfast wrap and OMG, it was so tasty. Sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms and hash brown. My son had halloumi flat bread and fries. He said it was delicious. He also had a banoffee milkshake and said it was lovely. The ladies were lovely and our order was delivered to our table, very quickly. I would recommend Coffee and Crepes 100%. We'll definitely be back. YUM!
