Starbucks — Restaurant in Tamworth

Well went in here as I had a gift card for a few pounds (it was actually my wife's but that is a different story). Great service greated with a lady who said she would not be a minute as serving at the drive through (spelt correctly) just as another young lady came out of the back put down the things she was carrying and asked if she could help. I ordered a coffee and treated myself to a cinnamon roll. When I had paid with the gift card I asked how I top it up or how I spend the remainder. The young lady who served me called over her colleague who gave me a very detailed explanantion and also told me about the app and its benefits which I will be downloading as I have the other app which I find of benefit. The coffee was superb and the roll although expensive is one of the best most moist I have every had (and I have had a few take my word for it). I decided to eat in and the atmosphere was the usual business types as well as the ladies and gents having a good chin wag. All in all a very pleasant experience only issue is that I see visits to coffee shops as a bit of a treat (beinga tea drinker) but with this one being round the corner from work I can see me visiting more often. We have been numerous times and it fails every single time. The drinks are either not made correctly or I have to return to request the food items I have paid for but not received. Recently I was stood there waiting for my drink for 20 minutes as a barista served everyone before me, even people who had walked in whilst I was waiting for my drink! Then her friend came in and she proceeded to yap to her for about 10 minutes and make her a drink and continue to ignore me. Once I glared at her, she must’ve realised she forgot me then she made my drinks and didn’t even apologise for the wait. Don’t understand how she thought this type of customer service is acceptable, she clearly didn’t care and I hope she gets the training that she obviously needs. Luckily the manager was nice enough to refund us but only after I had to complain and raise it since nobody noticed I was standing there. Me and my wife attended this Starbucks for the first time today, went through the drive through and ordered a large caramel frapp with coffee, strawberry’s and cream large and 2 ham and cheese croissants. Sadly very disappointed when the caramel frappe came with no coffee and both croissants were burnt! Went back in to ask for the frappe to be made with coffee. The lady who served me was lovely and happy to make the change and apologised to me. Instantly the crew member behind her snapped it has coffee in it!
