KFC Tamworth -Ninian Way — Restaurant in Tamworth

Took my son after he finished work to pick up his food, checked in at first window then arrived at second window only to asked "is this all you ordered" a sweet chilli dip! I said no and gave my order number 7107 to be told park up and the food will be bought to us. Which is what 2 cars Infront of of us also did. While waiting, food for 2 other cars was bought out and both orders were wrong. 15 minutes later still no food for us, bear in mind it was food for 1 person not a big bag of food so I drive back through the drive thru to be told they are just about to cook more mini fillets. Repeated I've already been waiting 15 minutes then asked do I want to speak to the manager I said yes. He then said there were cars in front of me that need serving first and mini fillets will take 4 minutes to cook and food will then be bought straight out to us. So I go and park back up. To then have another customer come and ask if I had just chased our food because she had been waiting half an hour. She goes inside and they give her food, she goes back to her car then returns to say it wrong. Then a car that arrived after us has 2 big full bags of food bought out to there car while we are still waiting for 1 meal. When the food does arrive we had been waiting 45 minutes in total god knows how long others were kept waiting. For a fast food chain not acceptable absolutely disgusting and certainly not fast. Worst KFC I have ever been to and I certainly won't use it again. Seems like inexperienced staff, not their fault if not trained, need more training and a manager that can't manage, can't keep the flow of food coming and no urgency to keep customers happy with...

What a shambles. Considering it's been open three days management appear to have absconded. It took over 19 minutes to get our food. Which let's face it is chicken and chips, that's all! The kitchen were not communicating with the staff on the counter at all and there was no food ready. Food simply wasn't been cooked and the backlog was apparent. That being said the counter staff were also not being efficient. Drinks were not prepped, boxes not made up, nothing was being done and they just stood there. One guy served two people and said twice, "sorry there's no reciept paper" well go get some, you're just stood there!! There was rubbish on the floor and tables. Again, if the kitchen are backed up and you're stood around, clean, wipe, tidy! Make use of the time to improve the surroundings. I could not see an obvious service point within the store to get serviettes, salt etc and we were not given any in the bag. So we left and had nothing to wipe our hands with, no fork for mash potato or serviettes. The box was a mess when I opened it with sauce everywhere. Considering the box meal has gone up about 20% it really isn't good enough! The other 5 star reviews to date, 4 of them mention RGM. Which suggests to me they are either being written by staff or they have been asked to write them. Because what is an RGM? My guess is Regional General Manager? Well he is long gone, and so are the standards. I hope for their sake these are teething problems, but for a first visit I've left really...

We ordered table service but found the blond teenage girl Brogan behind the counter didn't want to do that today, she rudely kept shouting our number out while we were sat down waiting until we went to get the food even though we had a table number etc. I then noticed she had missed part of our order, we should have had a box of chips in a gravy megabox she then moaned at me that it's not instructed to give me chips then begrudgingly (only another member of staff said it comes with chips) gave me a tiny amount about a 3rd I'd usually get I did explain this but she was not very nice and would not give me the normal portion I'd got at other kfcs for years she was blindly argumentive and did not care how she spoke to me she kept saying the gravy megabox comes with a regular chips it's actually meant to be a large chips even says on the website and even after I showed her she wouldn't give me what id paid for. The bins at the kfc were so full the whole restaurant stunk. I have not been to a worse KFC in the UK. No management was present was just a bunch of teenage chavs running the place with no care...
