McDonald's — Restaurant in Tamworth

I ordered through the app I was missing half my order and my food was cold and inedible I rang McDonald's on Watling Street immediately and was told to come to McDonald's to pick the remainder of my order after explaining I hadn't got transport was told by the manager who refused to give me his name that basically it was tough and I had to take the matter up with uber I tried explaining that I hadn't placed the order with uber I had placed the order on the McDonald's app via McDonald's at Watlington Street so they must have made up the delivery wrong I again asked if I could take his name and was told why would I want to give you that I responded so I could speak to his managers higher up to tell them why I was angry and the response and the attitude I had received from the manager I had spent all night in the hospital with my son and after coming home we decided to have a McDonald's delivery his response to that was what your trying to gilt trip me now I have never been spoken to by anyone let alone some one who is offering a delivery service that they got wrong like that I will never use that macdonalds or any other McDonald's if that how they treat there customers so I advice anyone who is using the McDonald's app and has any issue don't bother to resolve them just throw your hard earned money...

Ordered through Just Eat, meals came without chips (2 large meals and a happy meal plus 2 extra order of chips) so we ended up with drinks and burgers. I rang up and spoke to a lovely woman who was extremely apologetic and asked if I could drive up to have them fix the error. Not ideal really as I ordered it through Just Eat so I didn't have to leave the house but as she was so polite I agreed to drive up with the food that was given to me by the driver. Once there, they were ready waiting for me, took the old food, created a new order and added on 3 large mcflurries as a goodwill gesture which I was very grateful for. It only took a few minutes for them to fill the order, and I thanked them again for helping fix the problem and she thanked me for coming up to the restaurant. I've had a few problems with Just Eat orders and they never seem to care to fix, just sent you a blanket email saying sorry they'll try harder, but the people at the Wilnecote McDonalds in Tamworth are extremely helpful and very polite. The restaurant was very clean and everyone seemed happy that worked there. Big old 5...

Update after refurb; Cold fries, tepid coffee and too much salt on my burger (that was a first). Ordering for collection takes over ten minutes and the drive through barely moves. No cola and no milkshake on my visit. One of the shift managers was walking around at one point with a cigarette behind his ear-nice. No atmosphere now, lost that by cramming people in and removing the tills. Avoid.

Previous; Every time I visit this particular franchise they get my order wrong, or miss it entirely. Fast food it is not with typical wait times over ten minutes. On my last drive through order I had to wait in a bay, then sat there over 10mins. I left the vehicle and went in and was told by the shift manager that they couldn't find me ; I was in the numbered wait bay! They didn't listen to my complaint so can't expect they will improve as they don't understand their short comings....
