India Dining — Restaurant in Tandridge

I'm afraid I found it disappointing. The reviews were so good that I booked the night before and informed who I spoke to that it was my friend's birthday. On the website it specifies that Birthday Girl/Boy will get a glass of fizz and a cake. When we arrived the staff didn't seem very bothered. We waited a long time to be offered a drink and I asked the waiter about my friend's glass of fizz (he seemed surprised) which took ages to arrive. We ordered cocktails and again they took far too long. The restaurant was not busy so there was no excuse. Eventually we gave our food order (after I had to prompt the waiter). The food was ok ... to be honest I've had better. They did redeem themselves when they appeared with a cake but it was too little too late. I was then charged for the glass of fizz and was told it was "either fizz or cake" so I had to show the waiter the website. It was then deducted. I'm sorry to say we...

After writing a review 3 weeks ago due to a very late and cold order, I have experienced an even worse episode but interestingly can no longer leave a review!

We ordered food at 6pm on New Year's Eve (30 mins after they opened). I was told it would take 1hr and 10mins, which I was fine with. After over 1.5 hours, I called them back to see what was happening with our order. It seemed there was some confusion over whether we wanted it delivered or whether we would collect. I was told it was'on it's way. That was the last we heard of them and their phone was then engaged for the rest of the night. Happy new year!

We finally cut our loses after 9pm and ordered from elsewhere...luckily there was somewhere to take our order.

Our food never arrived, we still have not heard from them and we paid almost £35 that we have not seen back yet.

I am so upset as be bought from from you a couple of times a month for years!...

Was made to feel very welcome on arrival. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food is cooked in genetically modified soya oil, which is on a little sign by the bar, probably something more people should be aware of, weather this is added to the menu, would be a suggestion, if it was there, my partner nor I didn't notice it. I did open my menu to find food residue which wasn't very pleasant. Didn't enjoy my starter, but that's probably the choice I made, not the food option itself. My partner enjoyed her starter and main very much, and was very pleased especially with the main course. I did enjoy my main course, all the food came as if it had just left the stove, which is very rare, I like my food hot so this was a nice surprise. All in all was a good experience, a bit on the pricy side but I would go back...
