The Scoop Company - Warlingham — Restaurant in Tandridge

I recently drove past this place and saw a huge queue going out the shop after which I made a mental note to visit this place soon. Quite unforgettable when you see its extremely pink exterior! Luckily I got the opportunity to visit here with the family an hour or so before they closed. Inside the place is just as pink as the outside but decorated very well. A small shop but the right size for a dessert shop given its location.

There were already quite a few people sitting down but there was space for the six of us. We sat down and there were menus already on the tables. A large variety of different ice creams and dessert options greeted us and we decided to take only sample the ice creams on this occasion. (We had just had a big dinner so didn't want to overdo it!)

I went up to the desk and the lovely young lady greeted me with a smile and I ordered our ice creams. I was undecided on what to have for myself and asked for a recommendation. The lady asked me a few questions regarding allergies and types of flavours and eventually recommended the millionaire something or other (sorry can't remember the full name!).

A few minutes later the ice creams were ready and quite honestly, they were amazing! Good scoop sizes, well presented, quick service and of course they tasted absolutely phenomenal. Was really impressed with everything and will be...

Nothing better than a green smoothie with collagen after a workout. Mine was made with coconut milk and I also got a pink candle for my daughter from the merchandise section at a very reasonable price (£2.99)

This place is very cute, family friendly with nice staff.

Allergens are very clear on the menu and you can take away or enjoy the lovely decor and eat/drink inside this lovely place.

There are tables outside for wheelchair users and a pram can get inside too. Highchairs are also available making the place family friendly and inclusive.

The perfect place for dessert after a restaurant or for an outings with family and friends or just for a quick coffee or smoothie.

WIFI is also available and charging sockets are placed in seating area.

I’ve been here before and have never thought the customer service was great but have always thought that perhaps it’s a one off! The staff always seem stressed and almost as though the customers order is putting them out. My daughter loves the mango ice cream and so only go for this.

Walked in with no que which was excellent. The lady behind the counter was busy making an order so I accepted there would be a slight delay. I was a little disappointed not to be acknowledged or even a smile on my direction. The staff member finished making her last item which looked like a milkshake. Rather than giving the shake to the customer the staff member proceeded to take photos of it (presumably for socials!) surely there’s a time that doesn’t incure on a customer waiting to do this sort of thing. The ice cream is very good so you can’t fault it for that but when the service isn’t great it’s unfortunate it makes it a place I wouldn’t particularly want to go back to.
