Dining at 412 — Restaurant in Tandridge

Used to love this place, last few trips been disappointing and today made us see they do not care about customers….

Member of staff with long black especially let’s them all down, she was preparing sandwich’s with her long hair down and rude to customers.

Today we had a long wait, in this time she locked the toilet door from outside with a knife (then put knife she used back in area with other knifes) which made it say “engaged” didn’t put a sign up or anything (or tell other staff) I needed toilet which ment waiting long time for food ment o couldn’t drink or eat much as needed the toilet.

She also saw lots of other people spending lots of time waiting for toilet… I told one lady it was locked, another member of Staff told her someone’s just in there … the lady who then locked it stood next to them and said nothing. I told the lady again she locked it from outside then she informed the lady waiting “I’ve closed the toilet” no reason why.

She was rude as she spoke to the customer. I didn’t eat most my food as needed to go else where to use a toilet before I could eat or drink!

The food is now gone down hill the chips were undercooked, the breakfast was average and I hardly got to...

Popped in for lunch today for my husbands birthday. Ordered our food, had a fairly long wait but they were busy so all fine. I had ordered avocado and smoked salmon on toast from the menu which comes with a poached egg. It arrived with no egg so i questioned it. A mistake had been made which is fine, it was the reaction which really annoyed me. They had assumed I had ordered something that wasn't on the menu - why? They ordered me an egg and it came about 5 minutes later. It's not the mistake or the wait just how we were made to feel, as if it was our fault and we were inconveniencing them. I don't mind a mistake but to get no apology or acceptance. Just have the egg put down without a word is just not good enough service. We finished our food and left quickly. We won't return, it sounds really picky but a simple apology, communication of how it will be fixed and appreciating a customer shouldn't be...
