Ever since Lockdown, when I would go for a shopping trip, I saw this Waffle Inn being made. I am a huge lover of desserts so I was incredibly excited to try some waffles and see what they had to offer. I only just recently was able to visit the Waffle Inn, so the excitement was huge. Before you enter the premises, you are greeted with the Ice-Cream selection, you have some amazing choice, all look absolutely incredible. Luckily you can see the menu from this area as well, so whilst another customer was inside ordering we decided what to get. You have a fantastic selection again, though you have the option to get bubble waffles... I have only seen bubble waffles in London and a few venders in Devon. I was so spoilt for choice and gave myself 3 options to go to the till for. When you enter, you are greeted with the smell of cooking waffles, hint of nutella and fruit, a concoction of dreams if you ask me. When I got to the till I was welcomed by a very polite young person, even with a mask on, I could tell he was smiling. He kindly ran us through the menu and I asked for his recommendations. I come to the conclusion that the Strawberry Cheesecake waffle! He recommended that if we are taking away, then the bubble waffle isn't a very good choice, due to how messy it is. Of course my partner still wanted the bubble waffle, no caring about the mess. Another staff member kindly suggested, why don't we eat in, enjoy our desserts in the cool. To be honest, I don't know why I didn't think of that, I think I still have lockdown brain. We were shown to our seats by the other staff member, who was so bubbly, very polite and friendly. Whilst waiting for our waffles, we checked out the decor. I love the warm tone lighting, darker than outside, it felt relaxing and calming. An amazing neon sign, in front of these faux leaves, such a unique look and I really liked it. Before we sat down the staff member cleaned the table for us. It didn't take long for our waffles to arrive, but my goodness.... they looked beautiful. I can really see why they suggested to eat inside, my partners was like a fountain of molten biscoff, that would have been a ruined outfit if we took out. Oh I forgot, my partner got the Biscoff bubble waffle haha. First bite, I was amazed, it was so delicious. See my problem with strawberry cheesecake flavoured desserts (minus strawberry cheesecake) is the fact they miss out on the cheesecake part, just making strawberry with white chocolate.. however Waffle Inn nailed it! Tasted exactly like a cheesecake, I absolutely loved and wolfed it down like it was my last meal. Each dessert come with a pot of homemade vanilla ice cream, that ice cream was so smooth, so creamy, beautiful rich vanilla taste! I know for sure I need to try their ice cream next time. I had a little try of my partners mess on a plate bubble waffle, to be fair let's refraise that.... I had to finish my partners biscoff bubble waffle as it was so filling and I'm just a.... walking garbage bin so I had room for more. My gosh the rich biscoff taste, caramel like hint as well, it was so tasty too. I have to make it my goal to try most their menu. The seating area was really comfortable and a very nice place to sit, relax and enjoy your food. As we left, the staff members were very lovely again, asking us how our food was, just being really lovely people. I felt very welcomed there and I will have to defiantly come back soon, try more. The staff made this experience 100000% better, such lovely people and really helped. Hugely recommend for those with a...
Read moreAbsolute disgrace! There is no other way to explain our experience. 2 of the cookie dough deserts came out and they were cold so when we told a member of staff they apologised and took them back to the prep area where they was given a massive mouthful of abuse from the girl who obviously thought the world owed her a favour. They then brought another cookie dough which was as it should be. Unfortunately when one of the previous ones were returned to us it had a hair on it. This obviously was not going to be eaten so we went back with it to which we were told “well it will have to wait!” In an aggressive manner. A refund was given as by this point we had had enough of all the messing around and verbal abuse towards both customers, but even worse the verbal beat down that the member of staff kept receiving from the girl in front of customers...
Read moreAlways order from here, and never had a problem, until now.
Ordered two Ice Cream Sundaes for delivery, but what arrived was 1 ice cream sundae and 1 milkshake.
Called up to query this, and they told me they don’t actually see whether it’s a milkshake or a sundae someone orders because their system doesn’t specify, so they have to guess 50/50 which one the customer has ordered. The girl on the phone then told me that the milkshake and sundae are the same price, when they are not. £6.00 for a milkshake, £7.50 for a sundae.
So not only did I receive the wrong item, I’ve essentially been robbed of £1.50
Ridiculous way to operate if you ask me, having to guess what a customer has ordered.
Won’t be ordering from them again, as when I called was offered no solution other than to “Contact Just Eat”. Lovely way to fob the problem off to...
