Firstly the man that answered the phone was rude asked me for my address as you would think most people start with the post code which I did he interrupted me and said "mam address address "...o maybe you were meant to say the first line of your address that would be clear as water....rude!!!!no phone manners!!! I know everyone around the area recommends this restaurant... I really do not understand why???? We ordered beef in black bean sauce ...the texture of the meat was chewy and tasted old or more like really cheap cut of beef cooked quickly. Noodles were not nice at all greasy and dry. I mean even the chicken satay from the starters menu was dry and tasted like precooked chicken that was covered in satay sauce that you would buy in the shops at a really cheap price.... I mean for people how have takeaway often because it's easy ...ok its consumable, but for someone who doesn't realy haves takeaways it's disappointing and makes you think on what rubbish did I just throw my...
Read moreThis was our first and last experience of the Buddha Restaurant. First impressions were terrible, upon arriving we were abruptly asked 'what do you want?' rather than anything accommodating. Our server was less than helpful, confusing everyone at the table to how we order food then telling us that we could only order a small selection of dishes with no explanation to why we couldn't order from the rest of the 'all you can eat' menu. When food was brought to our table, the plates that were incredibly hot were constantly dumped, not placed, in front of our 11 month old son who likes to explore things placed in front of him. Zero consideration or thought was given towards a small child burning themselves. Awful experience, awful service and awful food would not...
Read moreHigh quality all you can eat buffet delivered from a menu of 100 items, portion sizes are the right size to try lots of different items. Plenty of choices from Chinese to Thai dishes. The staff are wonderful, polite & friendly, restaurant is clean and comfortable to dine in. Sit in buffer is £19 at lunch or £23 in the evening, you can very easily eat that amount worth. 90° turn from the street door to the inner door that's a bit awkward for wheelchair users but determination and few people to help and most manual wheelchairs should get in, electric wheelchairs won't get in. Parking is bays outside the parade of shops in a residential street, didn't see any blue bays and we had to park a fair way from the nearest dropped kerb and we caused an obstruction to traffic whilst in the road trying to reach the nearest dropped kerb.
Used Buddha for takeaway via lockdown but this was the first time as a sit down customer and...
