I'm still reeling from the incredible dining experience I had at Spice Route in Andover. The buffet spread was nothing short of phenomenal - an impressive array of dishes that showcased the rich diversity of Indian cuisine. From flavorful curries to fragrant biryanis, every bite was a delight. It was hands-down the best Indian food I've had in a long time. But what truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service.
Palavi and Aman, our servers, were absolute stars. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure our glasses were always full. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it added to the overall warmth of the meal.
The ambience of the restaurant is also worth a mention. The vibrant decor and lively atmosphere created a fantastic backdrop for a night out with friends or family. It's clear that the team at Spice Route have put a lot of thought into crafting an immersive experience that goes beyond just great food.
If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, or just looking for a new dining spot, do yourself a favor and head to Spice Route. The combination of outstanding food, top-notch service, and lively atmosphere makes for a truly unforgettable experience.

Read moreEnded up dining here with our parents in law from France (we were 4 of us) and had a very pleasant time for a Saturday evening dinner. My husband and I living in London for a couple of years now, we had very high standards in terms of indian food and were lovely surprised how it has been a long time we haven’t had a satisfactory traditional indian meal! Staff were also attentive enough (not too much, not too little - took into account few dietary restrictions and they even reexplained to my parents in law that services charges in the UK were optional, no one ever took the time to present that to us when we first moved in here!), dishes were also well presented, served quickly and all full of flavours, the traditional indian ice-cream (Matka Kulfi) was also a tasty dessert to finish the meal. We would highly recommend stopping by here if you are...
Read moreThis was our first time at Spice Route and we didn't have any expectations of it as we chose it randomly. However, as soon as we entered the restaurant, the service was exceptional. Very welcoming and great explanation of their menu and ethos.
Although I couldn't vouch it was authentic (not having been to India!), it was refreshing to have a choice of not the usual westernised curries (which I also love). We ordered chicken malia tikka and nagpuri lamb. The meats were tender and the sauces well blended and very delicious.
We went at a quieter time, but the atmosphere and environment was still lovely and enjoyable. Would definitely go back if we go back to the area. In fact, my only wish is that it was...
