An all round disappointing visit. I ordered the baked potato with cheese and coleslaw, and my wife had a chicken, bacon, and mozzarella toastie. The baked potato arrived with the coleslaw thrown in first with a bit of cheese sprinkled on top. Because the potato was stuffed with cold coleslaw, the inners were luke warm by the time it arrived, and the cheese never melted. The coleslaw was barely chopped and had huge chunks of red onion, and lettuce ends still in it. It wasn't the worst potato I've ever eaten, but it was far from the best. My wife's toastie was dryer than the Sahara, and she could not finish it. But all that pales in comparison to the glass of water I asked for, which I can only describe as something that looked like dirty dishwater. It was so bad that I had to stop mid meal and visit the local shop for a bottle of water. I have added a picture below, which doesn't quite show just how bad the water was. All in all, this was a very sub-standard meal, and what hope is there when an establishment can't get a glass of water right. Absolutely overpriced for the standard of food they're putting out. Definitely would not recommend to anyone that I actually liked.

Had another trip out today, decided to go to Andover....Well we were there we had a good look around and popped into Boswell's cafe for some refreshments....I had the all-day breakfast and the Mr's had a cheese and ham toastie, washed down with a latte coffee and a mug of tea...The staff were all very nice delivering a good service....So overall a pretty good place to stop off at....👍

Went today and didn’t expected it to be that busy. Ordered vegetarian breakfast and must say we loved it. Decent prices as compared to other places and considering inflation. Special shout out to staff, they were swamped with customers & still offered top class service respectful, polite and helpful. Keep up the good work and thank you👏

So first time me and my boyfriend went to the Andover Boswell's six months ago , there was a bug on my food.

Another time we went awhile back, a guy served us... He had servere impatigo on his face.

We gave it another go. I ordered the veggie breakfast. I couldn't see the menu. Me and my boyfriend have issues with our sight. I assumed that the veggie breakfast would replace the meat with veggie sausages. Which all it had was one egg, two hash browns, some beans, a small mushroom and a tomato cut in half.

Did not realise there was no toast. They made no extra effort for vegetarian. They just charged the same for less. And no toast with an English breakfast is just wrong. What are you supposed to mop up your fried egg with?

I said it's ok 3stars... Cause now there's no bugs or impitigo dude. Soo they have...

Sadly I had an unpleasant experience last time I went there. My 5yo suddenly needed to use the toilet. We were at the exit to Upper High Street so we rushed back to the disabled toilet inside The Chantry Centre but it was closed! I saw someone inside Boswell Cafe and I asked if my child can use the toilet there. The lady without any consideration said: No! It is already clean for tomorrow. I tried to explain that the one across is closed and my child really have to go to the toilet, but she told us to go the bus station toilets. So we did, only too late. I just want to say that I know the cafe was closed but I did not asked for a coffee, we just needed some help and a little bit of understanding wouldn't hurt. Please note that my rate doesn't include food and drinks from the cafe which are always...
